If you like Judau Ashta or Amou Shiiba as a character you'll definitely enjoy the other show's main character. Both are from similar circumstance being scrap scavengers and Amou feels like a modern rendition of Judau. On top of this both shows are action mecha with comedic moments.

Both are Mech-driven political dramas in the vein of Gundam but with more straightforward & watered-down politics. They also both have heavy Shonen influences, less Aldoah than Kyoukai.

A young man is swept up in a multi-faction war in a divided Japan, where he pilots a robot via VR interface. Both new-age original mecha series. AMAIM is distinctly less exciting than Rumble Garanndoll, however.
