Itazuraguma no Gloomy

both of the "comedy" in these series is for the scattered brain mc to be abused, and both are very bloody 

You go into both, fully expecting a kids show, when instead you get something that is slightly terrifying and definitely off-putting. Both use 3-D animation (although in Popee it enhances the obscurity even more). Gloomy has voice acting, but Popee does not.  

One is wholesome, the other is not so much. It makes you think though, are these just opposite ends of some form of love? Gal & Dino follows that aforementioned pair in a series of really funny and chill vibes all around the block. Compared to the unhinged Gloomy who really likes punching his owner, a lot. Both are pretty weird anime, very much so outside the realm of mainstream, but I'd give them a chance for sure. You won't see much like this again. 

It seems completely fine on the surface, but goodness me is that entirely wrong. PTPP and Gloomy focus on nothing but one thing, the dumb thing. Senseless anime-only one can find themselves loving or hating, with the two being as random as some scrambled Rubik's cube. Both contain quite a bit of punching. Anime that makes you understand why your crack package is still in Japan. 

They look cute. They really do. But as you have already seen with one of them, it is the same for the other, unfortunately :( But hey, that's subverting expectations, with a side dish of black comedy. Expiration date? None. Watch these two if you want to see randos (sometimes innocents) suffer.
