Both are absurd comedies that mix various animation styles and live action segments.

Both of them tell us about the daily life of a young woman who found an animal on the street and now lives with her as roommates. Both creatures are anthropomorphic, huge, fun, and take care of the apartment they live in (in their own way).

Could not have a more enjoyable "gyaru" show. Fun gyaru gals paired up with strange dudes who are still cool in their own right, getting down with life and just having a bit of fun with each other. The term "fun" here is a bit light-hearted and sweet in Sono Bisque Doll, with Marin and Goto having the best time in school as cosplayer and cosplayer styler duo. The term "fun" in Gal&Dino is a little more extreme and zany, with Kaede and Dino doing basic life stuff together, messing around and whatnot, with some sweet 3D nonsense at the end of each half-episode. Both are great  read more

The MVP is an animal, a really peculiar one at that. These two entities, Dino and Tsushima, give you an experience you never thought was even possible. More true for Gal & Dino but they are both crazy funny stuff anyway. Both were made by Jun Aoki so you can already tell that I am not making this up.

Both are slice of life fish out of water comedies that centre around members of a different species engaging with Japanese culture. Both series also feature vibrant art directions and similar production values

Both have a male lead that is unusual for the setting that meets the female lead and joins the story.

Both Gal & Dino and Nichijiou - My Ordinary Life are both slice of life & comedy anime & are pretty random but interesting & entertaining to watch.

Gal & Dino and Azumanga Diaoh are both random at times too & they're both comedies & slice of life animes.

One is wholesome, the other is not so much. It makes you think though, are these just opposite ends of some form of love? Gal & Dino follows that aforementioned pair in a series of really funny and chill vibes all around the block. Compared to the unhinged Gloomy who really likes punching his owner, a lot. Both are pretty weird anime, very much so outside the realm of mainstream, but I'd give them a chance for sure. You won't see much like this again.

Relatively nonsensical on the surface of things, but Gal & Dino and Pui Pui Molcar are often very causal in expressing such a mood. Take any topic and the two have got you covered, human and non-human pairing edition too. Both are good relaxed anime with a good sense of comedy for their targeted audience too.

Character lives with weird creature Bizarre, seemingly unexplainable, and doesn't seem to have a consistent plot, but you almost can't stop watching.

Clay style animation complete with a dinosaur as the main character Also has many weird self-contained stories in one episode

Rare comedies that has similar vibes at times with the music, some sound effects, nonsense, surrealism, silent freeze moments where characters stare each other without any dialogue (or anything coming from their mouths in the case of Popee cuz it's mostly silent) and crazy things you don't see in the "normal" world. Popee is more fast paced straight forward violence madness and to Gal & Dino is more slow surreal slice of life, but both have has some trippy and hilarious moments.

There's not much similar in plot to these shows, its just the overall vibe they give. Both are very lighthearted and sweet and center on a random scenario (like a a gyaru owning a dinosaur and a boy being a maid). Though I guess you can also say they both share the fact that fashion is a sub focus to the shows.

This MV and Gal & Dino remind me of one another. They both have live-action scenes on top of already frivolous animation. Some dramatic action dream? Some girl and dino living life casually? Kinda wild.

Is there really a need to take things seriously as "the other girls" do. Gal & Dino and Inferno Cop are 100% completely unconventional works that do whatever they must do, not caring about a single damn thing like story making sense and very deep characters are very deep. Whether it be a random Dino living with a "gyaru" type girl or some Ghost Rider spin-off having the revenge of his life. Both are great at presenting such absurdities too. Both are good shows with great quirks like "no animation" within the realm of anime and outside in the real world.

Gal & Dino and Helpful Fox both have a simple premise, they aim to present a chill and wholesome lifestyle with an unconventional yet almost as if they were destined to be pair. Going about absolutely nothing but their daily lives, the two anime present casual life between our protagonists when everything is just calm, no stress and no worries. Gal & Dino doing this in a more upbeat manner in comparison to the actually alleviating Helpful Fox, both still maintaining that relaxed nature to them. With Gal & Dino diverging immensely with its wacky live-action halves, Helpful Fox still remembers its ground, taking no different  read more
