they have something in common where the same world is hit by a pandemic, the difference is that in this anime, humans don't turn into zombies, but turn into monsters.

Similarities: -The same plot where mankind existence was under threat from a epidemic of apocalyptic proportions. -The same character plot where it is up to two individual with special skills to keep mankind safe from the threat. Dissimilarities: - One was about mutated monsters that were once human while the other one where all about super zombies that can't be killed easily.

Similarites: -Both were classifies as reverse isekai, where other worldly entities travel through the modern world. -Both have the same characters whom were warriors in their own right. Dissimilarities: _ One was more about action, magic and supernatural, while the other is more on action, thriller and sci-fi.

Samurai guys are sent to an unusual environment and fall into the hell of insane events. Both shows have similar approach, throwing a weird mix of fancy yet incompatible things right into your face. Medieval Japan with magic and freaking robots? Check. Samurai and ninja isekai'd to the zombie apocalypse future? Why not?

If you liked the idea "samurai isekaid to the post-apocalyptic world with monsters" but was disappointed by Gibiate because of how poor its animation is, try Kurozuka - a similar thing, but with awesome Madhouse visual style and bloody, dynamic action scenes.

In both humanity fight against people infected by a virus that mutate the body of the these. Really this is the only coincidence. Black bullet is better, in all ways than Gibiate, sharing the premise of killer mutant humans. The drama is coherent, with plot twist that made it very interesting

- 1 main female lead, 2 male leads - 1 male lead is very orthodox, realistic, and disciplined while the other is more unorthodox in his methods, more into popular culture (even when he was in edo Japan) - While Gibiate is a time travel story, they both have the concept of the old with the new. Old samurais vs new samurais in Samurai Champloo (along with pop culture). In Gibiate, Sensui is a part of the old Japanese culture while, Senroku is the new Japanese culture (guns, gun powder, explosives, and now the new Japanese culture)

Note: This is mostly a one-sided recommendation; Kuromukuro is much better of a show than Gibiate (as you might've gathered from Gibiate's current score of 4.50). The main similarity between the two is that both shows have a central character that's a samurai out of time, adjusting to the modern world. Kuromukuro is a mecha show while Gibiate is more of a survival horror show, but both feature some odd antagonists. The female protagonist of each also bear similarities; both are ordinary girls sucked into a strange and dangerous world at the beginning of the show, with some romantic tensions between them and the male protagonist  read more

They are both shows about survival from horrible monsters. It is action packed with lives on the line. Both shows incorporate some of the best CGI that exist. -. ..
