Made by same the animation studio. If you like the quality of Yuan Long, Shao Nian Ge Xing is on par. Cool fight scenes, good character design and expressive facial expressions and a moving plot. Although the story is different, the pacing and enjoyment value is similar. Both are adapted from chinese novel. 

Similar quality in art and animation style. Gorgeous character design, backdrops, fighting effects and martial choreography. Expressive character facials and emotion. Some 3D animation have dead fish eyes for their characters, but these two are done quite well. Shao Nian Ge Xing is better in that sense. Both gives similar vibes. A group of youths cooperating in given task and fight together against common enemy. Their interaction with each other is fun and comedic and sometimes touching. Never a dull moment.
