Namu Amida Butsu! Rendai Utena

If you enjoy cute guys doing cute *and* hot things together, this is the perfect recommendation for you. It doesn't take much of a leap to realize that Namu Amida is essentially an upgraded version of TouRan, where you have beautiful bishies in colourful and eye catching costumes (which have clearly been inspired from Egyptian, Arabic, Greek and ofc, Japanese cultures), who fight against supernatural evil in order to maintain balance in the human world. You also get to see these bishies while away their time in their temple/shrine when they're not saving the world, where they perform household chores and bicker with each other over their duties (exactly like in TouRan). I'd go on with the similarities, but I do believe the ones I've listed more than enough for TouRan fans to pick up Namu Amida Butsu! read more
