Anime anthologies may not be as popular as the regular anime films or serialized shows, But they've been in existence for a very long time, Entertaining fans through numerous short stories that feature different characters, Genres and worlds, Often connected by an overarching theme.

Here's a list of what I think every anthology anime worth your time.

Gray cement, flashing lights, the sound of cars and of the masses of people coming and going. The concrete jungle of the big metropolises, the smell of asphalt and the hectic streets where millions walk every day. The anime in this here stack are set in the vastness of huge cities like Tokyo, Osaka or New York.

This interest stack is focused entirely on anime that take a break from the usual unrealistic, exaggerated, over-the-top tropes commonly found in the average anime show, and instead offer an entire show that's pretty much as realistic as any TV series with real actors.

These anime don't include anything exaggerated, they're as realistic as they get, and therefore they can be great to recommend to people who are not into anime due to the format being too unrealistic or trope-ridden to appeal to them.

One or more of the main characters in this anime were not born in Japan (implying that Japan even exists in the universe the anime is set in), but were born in Earth (sorry, aliens, not gonna include you here).

Just listing some shows that I fw 🔥 but my generation rarely does 🙃. Mostly the mc is a young adult or middle-aged man 🙏 fr (I know 30 isn't middle age but kids these days think so lmfao 😭😭)
