An assorted stack of anime series that revolves around characters living in dorms or apartments. The hostel setting may or may not be the direct plot point of the anime.

For anime with sequels, only the first seasons of each have been included in the stack. The genres include (but are not limited to) Slice-of-Life, Comedy, Drama, Sports, and Romance.

Every anime featuring the famous line that goes ''What would you prefer first? Dinner? Bath? Or maybe... meee?'' Wording doesn't have to be exact, nor the options, but it must be clear that it is what this is referencing. Entries are in alphabetical order.

Mallorie Rodak might be known for being the voice of Frieren but did you know that there are some notable characters in other anime that you didn't know she voiced?
For the anime it's based on which season the character she voiced debut. For example the High School DxD character she voiced Rossweisse debuted in the third season BorN.
All of these are before October 2023 which was when Frieren's Dub released.

Onee-shota/Onee-shounen anime featuring a younger male lead and older female lead where the boy is actually younger, no "young in appearance" or "old man reincarnated as a young boy" tropes.

At least the ones that I've watched. We need more of these.

The criteria for these recommendations are that if you're just starting to watch anime, these are the best animes (In my opinion, of course) that you can start with. I've tried to include content for all publics, either if you're looking for Shoujo, Shonen, Seinen, etc.
