Both shows have a focus on working as a form of necessity than a desire by the main character. The humor present in both is very similar, with bizarre phrases paired with colorful images and cutesy characters.

Both are about cute cats, both are shorts, and both have a similar bright, flash style. The humor is also similar, in being very fast paced.

Basically the same show. Except one follows Cats, the other is about a bear. Both involve talking animals in a work environment, and share a similar flash animated style. Hataraku is generally more fast paced and kind of family friendly. While Anisava is more about romance and mature.

Everyday working life with a CUTE AND FLUFFY twist. Adorable but playful shorts to sooth the mind and soul.

Light-hearted shows with terrible pun-based char names to bring a smile to your day. Also, questionable marsupial voiced by Sugita.

Biology/animal behaviour references. Silver Spoon is about humans at an agricultural college where as Hataraku Onii-san is about college cats doing part-time work, encountering many other species along the way who all have their quirks. Both have a very wholesome feel.

Referential comedy in a workplace setting. The kind of show where you either get the joke or you don't - and have to look up the references you didn't get, or worse go away feeling like you've missed a joke but not knowing where the reference even was because it's all very low-key. Not (usually) laugh-out-loud hilarious, more pleasing chuckles that leave you satisfied.

Cute cat shorts to sooth your frayed and exhausted soul. Chi has more baby talk, and HataNii has more animal jokes.
