Both series' were adapted Stateside into Voltron, with Dairugger XV being Vehicle Voltron and Golion being Lion Voltron.

Both are un-popular old school mech anime, and both are more or less involved in the Voltron series.  These shows may not have been popular in japan, but they were greatly popular in countries like Italy, France, and Korea.
