ANIMATION / ART
Decent animation / art. Don't expect Bible Black level detail or fluidity, but Depravity is still one of the better h-animes around; it doesn't have many obvious repeating frames and the camera angles are varying and interesting. If Depravity was remade today, I'd expect the style would be a lot better.
SOUND
The Japanese audio is realistic and accurate. Yuki-Lin does a great job with Kiriko. I can't say the same for the English dub. The SFX and BGM are the same quality as the Japanese audio, nothing too wacky or out-of-place. The sound quality itself is excellent, no noticeable static or other noise; it's

very clear. The "OP" comes off as pensive and the BGM throughout the entire h-anime is ominous. The ED is surprisingly upbeat and catchy.
STORY / CHARACTERS
The story, hands-down, is excellent and one of the main reasons to watch Depravity. If you break a story down to its very basic elements, you'll find most, if not all, stories are the same. Depravity is no exception. A great story is about the details and how you approach a basic plot. Spread out over 3 episodes, five high school students rape a teacher, Kiriko Ragawa, and try to get her to submit to them. The story is mostly linear with a few flashbacks to Kiriko's past providing insight into her character. You find out she has a black belt in judo and karate and is strong and proud. How can a woman such as that NOT put up a great fight? The other students and teachers aren't really fleshed out; you'll feel as lonely as Kiriko throughout the entire series.
VALUE
As with most h-anime, Depravity is great to watch over and over again. I would buy Depravity to support the studio and writers. The story has a lot of potential; I can see a prequel and sequel if they ever get around to it, which at this rate, they will never. You have to wonder... what happens to Kiriko when she goes back to school tomorrow after her "ordeal?" What happens to the students? Can there be something more to the co-worker that asked her out to dinner? A great standalone series that could only be stronger with a sequel and prequel.
ENJOYMENT
I enjoyed Depravity immensely [and still do!] and am disappointed I haven't found any female characters since as strong as Kiriko. I particularly like the story, character, and pacing and still watch it!
