Disclaimer this is a type of retrospective that i have done after reading the Manga of Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken or knownover here in the west as My Girlfriend is a ShoBitch. Everything in this review is entirely my opinion and you are free to agree or disagree. I only ask that you respect my thoughts and that way I can respect everyone else's with that in mind there are heavy spoilers for the manga and anime in this review so if you are not done with them then I advise that you keep scrolling, however if you have finished ... it or do not mind the spoilers I would gladly appreciate if you would give me your thoughts thank you.



Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken or My Girlfriend is a ShoBitch is a manga that was written and illustrated by Matsumoto Namiru and falls under the genre of Romance, Comedy, Ecchi, and Harem. The manga began serialization online from July of 2015 to September of 2019. An anime adaptation of the manga was later created and aired from October 12 to December 13, 2017. It starts off with our main protagonist Haruka Shinozaki, he is regular high school student who does not stand out among his fellow classmates but there is one thing about him which sets the events on the "story" in motion. One day he asks out his crush Akiho Kosaka having liked her for quite a while and she agrees. What happens after this is not really much of a concrete story it is more of a series of smaller most of the time self contained stories that do not really linger over a long period of time. This a very lighthearted series and it only on a handful of occasions does it get serious. There is not much to say about this series plot the only real parts that do have a mostly flowing plot are the two OVA's or episodes 11 and 12 of the anime. As of now there is only one season of the anime and there is a decent demand for a second and I am among those who wants a season two. The second season could be booked but if that was the case we don't know for we it is booked for and if that is the case it is a possibility that we would have to wait a couple of years before we would get a follow up. Personally I do think that even though the manga has concluded that their is enough of the source material to produce another season considering that they have not used all of the mini stories that were made in the time frame that the anime takes place in. That is my one and only complaint actually which is that the mini stories of the anime and manga were not adapted in the same order but that is only a minor complaint of mine. In terms of differences between the anime and manga they are not that major of course the anime is more effective at conveying the physical comedy. That being said I did much rather prefer the anime to the the manga for one reason and that reason is that at the end of almost every is not every episode there is a small but sweet serious romantic interaction between the characters that really makes it feel like a high school relationship in which they are still learning. My favorite part however has to be at the end of the tenth episode in which the main protagonist admiring Kosaka just simply out of the blue just looks at her and says "I love you." This made the show for me and it is what makes me want a season two so bad, the simple fact that I want to see this relationship evolve and flourish into something beautiful makes me really want this to get a continuation.
This series was really good at one thing making you laugh and making you feel sweet inside at the end of every episode(no one misinterpret that) with that being said if you do not mind sexual humor, sexual looking scenes, and even more sexual physical comedy(or if your into that good for you I won't judge) then you should definitely watch or read Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken or My Girlfriend is a ShoBitch, but yea this was a good experience and now with that out of the way I give this series a 7 outta 10 and I would recommend

In all honesty, I don't think I have ever laughed harder at something. Just the dirty perverted jokes were enough to make me want to keep going but that is really it.

It definitely wasn't what I expected, and even with the reviews/ratings I knew it'd be one I'd have to tough it up to finish but with a bunch of laughs and only a short 10 episodes I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I sometimes spent almost the whole 20 minutes laughing.

As for the story and what not, I'm not one to really look into it and judge one based off of ... that. If its got some short story, skips a bunch of stuff that leaves us asking ok but how, or why did it end up this way I don't freak out and instantly give it a bad review. This review is solely off of my personal enjoyment of the anime. Like I said some people will enjoy it, and some will hate it. It's the same with every other anime, but If you want to kick back and relax while dying of laughter this is definitely one I'd recommend to watch

This anime is obviously directed towards MATURE AUDIENCES, so avoid if you are not into that stuff. The things mentioned and alluded are all so suggestive it's amazing.

The story isn't much, as it focuses on the developments of characters and their interactions more than anything. The anime builds off its initial premise and introduces more to it as it goes on. This anime is meant to be so suggestive, you wonder "who thought this up?". It's self-aware of what it is doing, and is comedic with it. This anime is very suggestive and does this extremely well. The timings, pacing, and scenarios presented in this ... anime are all well done. Even with a little story to its name, it holds up very well.

The characters are all unique, and give off their own auras. They work well off of each other and create a very suggestive chemistry with the MC. They are all fun and entertaining, and you are bound to find one you really like. These characters are definitely this anime's strong point.

The animation isn't bad, but it is a bit odd. There are scenes where it looks like someone off hentai, but it's fine overall. If you are not picky with animation, then this is completely fine.

Overall, a fun and lewd anime that is obviously directed towards a specific audience. If you are into this type of anime, then I recommend you give this a watch. This is not for everyone, so only watch if your mature enough and are willing.
