I really enjoyed this series and the artwork is gorgeous. And Residence does deliver ! Residence among other Hentai is where the story is the sex, moreso the sex scenes represents changes within the character themselves and positions and so on. So yes, these scenes do contribute and here ther's certainly a reason for them being the way that they are.
