?/Sankaku no Rhythm/Trump no Arasoi

Two demonstration shorts about what could be done with the animation of the era, in 1932 and 1987 respectively. A staple for anyone willing to know the story of anime. 

Two impressive animation shorts for the era they were made at but... that today might just cater to people interested in history of Japanese animation. 

They were made by the same director, and also feature simple shapes moving on the screen. Bear in mind that "An Expression" was preserved poorly so watching it wouldn't be really pleasant. 

Short, old early japanese animation done with experimental purposes way before the concept of anime series existed. 

Do you like to see geometric shapes animated? Do you? Sankaku no Rhythm and Modern No 2 are really the shorts for you. I feel like Modern No 2 is a sequel that decided to evolve from triangles to cubes and that you should watch.
