Sengoku Night Blood

This is based off of a otome mobage game, that only came out in the spring of 2017, so you can tell they had it set up for the anime. I can not express how much I hate the art style, beyond Sanada team which it might be an improvement there but that is also my own tastes. I just feel like compared to the actual game the art doesn't do it any justice what so ever. In the game each army is done by a different artist, and they're the top in the industry at that! So that is my MAIN big problem with ... the show is the art doesn't do it justice. Otome/ Reverse harem shows, hell harem shows in general, don't usually have a strong story. You watch them for the individual character, which I do feel the anime is rushing a bit compared to the game. Those are standard things that happen though when doing an anime for this type of game.

This one is no different, in fact its almost laughable, but its not bad enough to make me not enjoy it. Basically Himemiko ( The Mom ) decides to peace out, and supposedly sends Yuzuki from the real world into here to possibly replace her? Yuzuki might be inside a cellphone, the anxiety riddle tanuki adorable companion minion Imari probably the only one that knows. its not clarified in the game either. To make everyone get along she created the Moon fang tribe, consisting of two vampire armies, and 4 werewolf ones. They rule over the normies and fight these monster things called Yakuma ( WHICH DONT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE ONES IN THE GAMES FYI ). Since Mom disappeared without a trace everyone freaks out and starts fighting over unifying Shinga, kinda like how they fought over unifying japan in sengoku period.Like a bunch of kids wanting to acomplish something big to show off for when they find Mom ( Himemiko ) again. Rather than just get along and keep the peace like they're suppose to...Yuzuki's blood awakens them to a new color scheme and power level, which could give each army one hell of an advantage. So everyone is going to fight over yuzuki, while she helps each army in their own little way and probably in the end makes everyone get along.

Its a general, overplayed, theme and type. Yuzuki is your typical bland sweet MC.... annoyingly so. However the voice acting, is pretty top notch, and I really hope the show continues to show more character development though it will probably only focus on one or two relationships at most. The game is amazing for mobage, and so far the anime doesn't disappoint to badly. Getting music for it has been fun, I'm loving the sound track! 7/10.
