Here are some suggestions for anime closer to the themes we see in series and movies with North American and European actors!

Common factors:
• high marks from those who completed the work;
• story with complete character and plot development, where nothing is frivolous and can be taken up again in the future in the work;
• without undue exaggeration;
• script well made
• More realistic and coherent story with the universe of the work
• They are not extremely complex
• Managed to hold the attention of many people until the end
• Memorable endings

Other factors that can help bring other people closer to anime: a few episodes, and works dubbed in your language.

vibes are: underground, neon lights, urban legends, music, style, rebels without a cause, gangs with a heart of gold, kids being adults, music, chosen family, underground, rejection of society, double lives, etc

Anime with emo or whatever 2000s nostalgia. Wide-spaced too huge eyes,large forehead, tiny mouth, moe-blob. Some has y2k fashion or catchy tunes. Some are not to watch with other people unless you know they're fine with it. I haven't really watch any of them so I only picked based on thumbnail art-style. Always read reviews + genre tags before watching.

After starting Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, I got curious about which anime use already-existing tracks from so-called "Western" bands or musicians as their openings. So for example, Stray from Wolf's Rain wouldn't count because it was written for the anime, even though it was performed by Steve Conte. On the other hand, Duvet by Boa would count. I don't have a clear distinction between "Western" and not in this case - I'm mostly thinking English-language songs, but tbh anything outside China-Korea-Japan would probably count for these purposes.

This interest stack is filled with anime that is both romantic and dramatic. It is meant for watchers who want to see a serious romance unfold among dramatic twists and turns. These titles have very little comedy and stay serious until the very end! This list is non-exhaustive as it only includes titles that I have watched.

Only the first season of a series is listed. All sequels fall under the same category of "romantic dramas."

mindfuck but cool, u might get depression though

if u actually watch this, u fucking need therapy

NOT OFFICIAL this is the stereotype anime picks for anime elitist genre.

Anime elitist explores the genre of psychological horror with a li bit of advance mecha, techno combined leaving hints of philosophy and theology. (but honestly its just underrated anime with a mc being a sigma male)

for incels, femcels with unhinged female rage and gays and acclaimed hot people this is 4 u

This is a list of awesome anime for awesome people that understand how awesome anime is and want to get better at seeing what is actually good. Not everything in the list is a masterpiece (most are) but everything is essential to understanding anime as a medium for drama.

This list will help you grow as a person. While the list is mainly based on my personal opinion it does note the average score of the series.
The list is made with the idea of reccomending series to people newer to anime and still trying to find the direction they want to take their preferences hence it has multiple entries of different genres.

This list will be 50 entries long, so prepare you buttcheeks and enjoy the ride.

(the list is in no particular order.)
