Spirits are like Fairies tasked with something in order for them to be rewarded on their own homes, and to do this they should partner with a human!

Both have 'fairies' which 'pop' out after making a wish or something like that... There are adventures within humans and fairies. And the fairies could be annoying at times but funny ^_^

Same manga author~ Kaede & Honoka are very alike too :) Mao-chan = Mirumo! x3

Both are shoujos that involve magic, school, friendship, school love, magic creatures and magic world. Meepple and Mipple reminds me Mirmo and Rirumu. Pretty cure is most about mahou shoujo fight, and Mirumo de pon focus most love.

Young main character suddenly encounters a certain little troublemaker that gets attached to them. Wagamama Fairy is how this situation plays out in shoujo, while Beelzebub is how it plays out in a shounen.

It's not about fairies but an alien baby and the main characters LOOKS so much like the ones from Mirmo. In DDD, the two mains takes care of the alien baby and HE'S ADORABLE. just like how in Mirmo, the mains have their own fairies. BUT anyways, it's really cute. The girl in DDD likes a guy too and they're freaking cute! it's a must watch.

Erm, It isn't reallyt what you call 'similar'. The story is different, and yeah. The character doesn't seem to math. But hey, I'm sure if you have a keen eye, you'll gonna find the similarities. I can't be bothered to type it all. x<

These two have much in common: + magic, fantasy, soft comedy + both shows were popular in Japan, so there are a lot of episodes and seasons + the main target public/audience is kids and young girls (kodomo/shoujo) + magical companions (pets or fairies), magical abilities, school training and grades + jokes/gags about ability magic level, some few parodies/references about other series + evil organization with a powerful boss and some funny underlings (clumsy bunglers), black magic + the magical beings have a very characteristic personality, there are four "elemental masters" too + human transformations when they go to the magical world + the way they discover/find the jewels or crystals is also similar +  read more
