Both shows revolve around female mecha(s) learning about the world and making excessive puns. The shows are short, 3D, and are filled with quick paced talking. Though Fireball Charming does have the better 3D animation--Straight Title has a wider variety of scenes. If you're in for a crash course of Japanese humour these are the shows for you.

Both series are about 3 female characters talking about random stuff, animated using low quality 3D CG. The type of skits used in each show also have very similar traits. IE, both shows have a location where the characters can create anything they want in a giant open area.
