Maou Dante

This is probably one of the worst if not THE worst anime I've ever seen. The most information you're given on the plot is always the bare minimum, and watching this made me feel like over half the show was just filler because there were multiple times where events that occurred previously were just completely irrelevant. The characters are all pretty boring, including Ryo and his sister who are supposed to be the main characters but just fall flat in every way, most of their interactions in the first few episodes feel like the same scene over and over and over again. The worst part ... is probably the music, it was pretty funny the first few times I heard the same awful songs being played at least twice every episode but it gets old extremely fast. The animation is incredibly lackluster and somehow makes the fight scenes look just as dull as Ryo and his sister talking in his room for the 900th time. Please don't watch this, it's not even an entertaining bad show it's just straight up garbage. If you wanna know what Demon Lord Dante is all about, just go read the original manga or the 2002 remake.

Was it a bad plot with good moments, or a good plot with alot, and mean alot of bad moments? The anime wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. As other anime of the this time, it was very serious and was bare of comic relief or any story relief. Which caused the anime to follow the footsteps of many others, a mediocre show due to heavy reliance on plot. Even though for an anime of this time its explored themes which weren't innovative but provactive and hints of quality. However, all of this was overshadowed by poor character development and weird, and when i say ... weird i mean WEIRD themes.(cough cough possible step bro moments) Furthermore, i generally believe this anime was just let down by poor development, lacking realism and deliver. Which is tearful, due to the potential of the plot.
