Both are clay stop-motion animations and both are made by the same author. Battle of Clay 2 is more creepy, so that's why I think it's more similar. You don't have to watch Battle of Clay 1 before the sequel.

CCW: Crazy Clay Wrestling addpermalink

Both are short ONAs about two men made of clay battling/wrestling with each other. Both anime are made with slow-motion technique. Both were made by same director and have similar animation. While CCW: Crazy Clay Wrestling is more sports, Battle of Clay 2 is more fantasy.
