Whenever I (attempt to) assess something critically, the topic of "art" and what it entails comes up. Whether or not something feels like art matters not, since at the end of the day, it is. No matter how minor this idea of "art" is present, it's there in some form, to argue against is the same as defining an abstract term. This same term, "art," is just as abstract as it is subjective, since the closer you get to art, the closer you get to it being meaningless. What I have before me is indeed art. Giving this 10/10 would feel like cheating, but at least, I would be honest with myself. Watching this music video, especially with context, and aside from YAOSOBI's wonderful vocalization, it reached the height that Beastars, the TV series, could never reach, but was always after.

From the first second to the last, taking into account the unique, chalk-like style, to the euphoric melodic rhythm of the song, it tingled me in a place I could never expect from something so short and deliberate like this music video.
