Wow, I can totally see why Totsukuni no Shoujo made you cry. I just read it all in one day. Literally everything about it is beautiful and I can't believe something so analogous to my tastes would've most likely slipped under my radar had you not exposed me to it; it is so criminally underrecognized. Perhaps the most aesthetic work to exist in this medium too. Actual art piece. Every panel is a work of art and every page is full of meaning and impact. Thank you, lol.
You'll love the pensive and bittersweet theming then seeing it with new eyes. It has strong characterization and genuineness that do make it very charming.
Nana a 6/10 from you is surprising btw. I'd have thought it was an extended favorite. It's honestly peak shoujo (I have not seen a single other shoujo except Fruits Basket).
Every day I wake up EXTRA early to bully sleazy midwits until I get bored. He is the most pathetic user to exist on the platform and deserves much worse if the guidelines would allow it. lol I'm just curious to see how long he keeps going with that incredibly petty and insidious passive-aggressive conduct since it's obviously just damage control at this point. He's well aware that ANTI and everyone else have already broken him beyond repair; 'tis simply a case of egging him on now for fun.
Had to cleanse my palate somehow after those Toilet Evergarbage instalments, and finally finishing the anime adaptation of the series that it's a shitty bootleg of was a great opportunity for that.
I'm not sure if it's just because I hadn't touched it in months, but the production values felt notably amped in that last batch of 4 episodes. Regardless, even if it's a far cry from the video game's masterstroke, it's still above the average anime at least. I appreciate the gorgeous art direction (whenever the CGI wasn't rearing its ugly head); only appropriate for NieR:Automata's beauty.
