| Time for some spooky stories. Masa's is confusing and Tatsu's is too normal and relatable. Just another day in the househusband household. Kids can be truly frightening. I think this segment was even scarier than the last. GOKUSHUNINJIN Tatsu absolutely just flexed his immense knowledge of juice on us. I for one aren't complaining. The rivalry grows evermore. This time with a serious bug battle. Bit of a disappointing outcome though. One day we'll see who the real winner is. Tatsu's knife skills are insane. I wonder where he learnt how to use a knife from...... Poor Gin. :( Just like that another season is over. This show it always so short that it is really too hard to complain. While I feel like the actual quality of the production is still sorely lacking, at this stage I have finally gotten over my initial disappointment to where I feel I have just been enjoying it for what it is now. I wonder if we will see a season 2 part 2 anytime soon. It would certainly make sense given the format of last season, though I can't help but wonder how many chapters there are left to adapt. Can't remember from the manga where this season got up to but I am pretty sure it is fairly far along. Given the English translation has stopped for now maybe there are more Japanese chapters than I realise in which case I really do hope for a part 2. |

| More Househusband goodness, but it's so damn short, pathetically short even. 5 measly 15 minute episodes? Why can't they just throw some original only episodes in there? |

| Another great continued adaption of the manga. 'Really enjoyed this season even though it's disappointingly short. With this pace (at where the manga is at) I think a little over 2 years would allow the anime to get a new set of 5+ episodes. Gotta say it again, the lack of animation is not a problem at all to me, nor should it be, because the spirit of the manga is exceptional in the anime from the voice actors and whole direction of soundtracks and effects. I think my favorite parts from this set of episodes was the scary little girl who's anti-veggies, and the Boss Lady with her love for cats. 8/10. |
| After watching this season with Japanese audio, I went back and skimmed the episodes with the English dub audio. It's actually pretty decent as well. |

| Masa's story would've been creepy if he only knew how to explain lol! That kid who hates veggies was so scary lmao! But her sense of smell is so accurate she can be a great chef if she wants. The story about the carrot almost got me! I was getting teary-eyed but the ending killed it! XD This anime might not have the best animation, tho the animation strangely works well, but the voice acting is SUPERB so I'm watching it. It was funny enough in the manga, but these voice actors really bring this show to life. :D I love the ending song. update: I watched The Ingenuity of The Househusband feat. Tsuda-san (Tatsu's VA) showing the way of the househusbands after finishing this season. And it was strangely interesting lol. I didn't know there are so many "tricks" in doing house chores. I wonder why they look so fun to do when I'm a very lazy person haha! I learned a lot tho. Thanks, Netflix! |

| Looking back on the series as a whole, I start to realize that a more fluid animation style wouldn't have really added all that much. Maybe for certain scenes, sure, but overall this series really is adequately animated in this style. Plus, I imagine it's nice for a studio to have a "lazy" series in between the more labor-intensive ones. |
