Great, great episode. Lots of action and the ending scene with Touma was great. xD
So the reason the culprit did it because he was always getting bullied and Judgement was never there in time? And also because he thought that people with higher power were always looking down on him?

In the end Touma didn't get any credit, but he didn't give a damn. =P

Some action + some plot + funny interactions = great episode.

Anyway, I guess I'm liking Touma's character more in this cameos than in Index. Probably because of the lack of moral speeches - those were damn annoying.

liked the episode but bomber-san was such a fucking idiot. Why did he hurt Judgment instead of the ones bullying him? Maybe misaka pulled a simon/kamina when she made him "grit those teeth".

Anyway great ep onto the next one.

Well, we finally got to some plot and it was decent but, to quote the above post, the villain was "a fucking idiot". He was lashing out at the wrong people and he was very far from being a criminal mastermind. Hopefully things will improve as they look into how the idiot bomber rapidly increased his power. Obviously it has something to do with that "Level Upper" thing because they keep mentioning it and it does happen to be the title of the next episode.

Anyway, Touma makes another appearance - he certainly seems to have a hand (specifically his right) in everything that happens in the city.

That's exactly what a hero does. "Who cares who saved everyone?"
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.

Judgement is a joke. They waist all their time cleaning up the trash and finding little girls bags and totally ignore when someone is being bullied. Well not totally, when the person who was being bullied strikes back they put all their effort into catching them, or trying to anyway. They don't even end up catching them, they show up after their job is already done and then start scolding the criminal. It shouldn't have been so surprising to them that they were the targets.

This episode ruled so much, I couldn't believe it.

The moment when Touma appeared behind Misaka and asked her "What the heck, Biribiri?" :D :D :D was so hilarious, it made me blow out my air in such a way that I splashed my coffee :D

And the moment when Touma moved before the explosion was so epic!

Feel kinda sorry for that bomber... Dude got screwed over by bullies, mind got twisted and the result?
Now has a criminal record and will get bullied again. Huh. His life is completely f***ed. I wonder if Misaka punching him had any effect, he's probably pretty used to getting beaten up!

Seeing Touma was cool. He seems a lot better than in Index, maybe because he has less screentime to spout off ridiculous speeches!

That after-credit scene was really funny : ''Always acting so cool... UGGHHH, HE ANNOY ME!!''

Awwwn, I really wanted to see Misaka in the pyj'... Yes, I'm a perv :3

There is still that Level Upper thing problem. There must be some kind of counter effect...

He really doesn't have any resemblance to that guy who saved index before his memory got wiped.
Those cameo appearance of Touma are just the best... he's so cool and badass here.

The action sequence was cool, and generally the episode looked pretty good. I like that Saten is experiencing a little angst over not being as powerful or important as the other three. I also liked the themes of the episode (frustration of the less gifted, and the questionable efficiency of law enforcement), though once again it was all executed in a pretty mediocre way.

I knew I said I didn't mind Touma as a supporting character, but I do not care for whatever's going on between Mikoto and Touma. At all. Didn't Index have enough patronizing power fantasy, they had to squeeze some in here, too? Why does he have to steal the spotlight even in this show, where I thought I wouldn't have to deal with his annoying invincibility?

I'm also not a fan of the increasing tendency of overpowered characters conveniently saving the day, even when it happens to be Mikoto. This just makes it so that the other three have an excuse not to improve or get hurt, ever. And of course, this way they never have to be too creative or develop any strategy. When something like this happens, I ask at the end of the episode: what was the point? And I can't come up with a good answer.

The trope of an OP character swooping in is not something I always hate, for example, in Monogatari, I'm okay with it because that's not an action series and the conflicts are solved with conversations, not battles. Here though, where the focus is supposed to be the four girls kicking ass, to various degrees, it is grating when three of them are allowed to drag their feet with no punishment, and the pompous self insert from the parent story even ends up stealing Mikoto's thunder. This trend is highly counter-intuitive; the show is basically wasting its best assets.

Unless Misaka starts actually changing due to this perceived inferiority to Touma, and not just fall for him because he's the light novel protagonist, this sort of thing will only hurt the show. If they just wanted to make another story about how Touma is the coolest damn guy around town, they should have just done that without any pretension and then I could have spent these 10 hours of my life on something else.

So, through some mental gymnastics this idiot blames judgment for the fact that he's a completely worthless and spineless wimp? Very SJW of him - a perfect representation of what is going on in modern society, worldwide.

A lot of people could take a lesson away from this episode, and the world would be a better place as a result. It's a bit sad that this is actually a true statement reflective of real society, my god... but that would effectively solve the majority of it, if they took it to heart and learned right from wrong here.

More action and plot in this one, and still the same sense of fun in the interactions between the main group.

I do hope Touma saving the day doesn't become a habit though. I started with Railgun first, so will be finishing at least season 1 before checking out Index. As I understand it, Touma is MC there, and this is a spin off. So it would be better if the girls were able to solve major issues in their own series.

The writing is so bad and childish its become a chore just to get through it. Worse of all I can already see where the story is headed and I'm in no mood for the childish plot that will soon follow. At this point just make it a comedy/romance.
