Why Anya's hairs are pink and have horns ?

I noticed that every character has natural hair colour (black/brown/blonde) in this anime, then why does that peanut loving mind reader freak has pink hairs with some adornment on them that never comes off ? I don't know if those are some hair clips just like Kagura had in Gintama series
Or is it just normal to have pink hairs for a 5 year old kid ?

a) It’s marketable
b) Possibly from experiments done on her. I wouldn’t be surprised if the hair pieces were attempts to extend the range of her powers.
c) She has psychic mind reading powers and a dog who can see the future. Is her hair color the most concerning thing about her?

because it makes her more cute and maybe to add a little flavour to her head cause otherwise it would kinda bland, it could actually be a headband with those two horns on it too now i think about it :P

I understand you, I thought the same thing because she sleeps with that on too but I don't know. It's probably a memory from her past and that's why she never takes it off.

It is a valid option because Fiona has white hair too. It is not crazy to think about colored hair considering that it is a resource that is usually used in anime to give a recognizable characteristic to the characters

the author basically mixed things from his works that were canceled and mixed everything as if it were the Powerpuff Girls, so much so that Anya's appearance is based on this other work of his, Rengoku no Ashe
He probably didn't think that this work would soon become a worldwide success, since it was his 4th or 5th attempt.

In universe they're just accessories that cover her buns. Out of universe from a character design perspective they're meant to look like horns to draw parallels between her and her chimera toy, because she too is a mutant experiment.

Like the others say, they aren't horns. But they are symbolically. This sort of thing helps with emotion based advertising which is mostly subliminal association, especially for the younger crowd. "I don't know why I like it, I just do!"

The pink hair makes her stand out.

Of course they can come up with a manga explanation for just about anything. But the reason these decisions are made is because they work when selling a narrative.
