If there's a big time skip it will be at the very end of the story and not at any point before.

Nope, or at the very least not yet (if ever)

The whole reason Operation Strix is even a thing is because Westalis has heard rumors about Donovan Desmond plotting something and introducing a timeskip might be a bit detrimental to that MAIN plot point

Though it has been mentioned that Operation Strix is likely to be a multi-year operation so it's not completely off the table but, at the very least it might screw over the potential comedic moments we'd have with the 5 main kids not to mention the off-screen growing up, maybe better relations among the 5 and such

Not at all, but there are flashbacks.
I suspect that we might get a time skip far later on or rather see Anya grow up.
I don't think she can become a scholar in just a few months.
