It’s gonna be a more of the same, I think that until late in the story we’re not gonna see anything particularly interesting, it already got kinda stale in the second cour. Also all the hype that surrounded the first cour is nowhere to be seen now. It will continue to be a fun ride, not much more than that

People asking for plot developments will definitely like this much more. The majority of the season will be one single arc focused on Yor.

It was a fun read though....Cruise ship arc is a big arc and it'll focus more on Yor and it'll have some fight sequences

After the lackluster Cour 2, my expectations have taken quite a dip. I would want to see more Anya Damian moments in school.

The Yor arc should be early next season. That one is pretty good.

I wouldn’t be surprised it myself and some others drop the show, last season was almost unwatchable in my eyes and I dreaded watching it every week, which is a shame because the first season was so good

I’m looking forward to it! I think there will be a renewed emphasis on Anya earning the remaining Stellas as war between East and West draws closer.

well if we dont talk about the cruise arc, i think it will be as good as the first season. not lower or better. But im really excited for the cruise arc being animated with yor mission and all, it's like my favorite arc of the manga for now. So i hope they will do great job for that cause i love yor fighting so bad omg

I only had a few criticisms for both parts of Spy x Family, and they basically fettered out to - I want more mama Yor, I want more adult drama, and I want more "era appropriate" musical tracks (i.e. 1960s). I was disheartened out of anime for years, but SxF's fresh ideas and creative energy really hooked me. I expect to see more Yor with season 2, and I hope the production quality is upped since SxF is selling like hotcakes. I can't wait for more of Abe's favorite anime - now go have babies.

tbh, the second 12 eps were so boring. the manga itself was good, but the anime kinda ruined it. They didn't have to make the unnecessary chapters into anime. they even made side chapters, which ruined the pace of it, and anime got so boring. I don't understand why they did that. if sth like that happens again, it would be like before, although the cruise arc is so interesting itself.

It only gets better.
Overall, it's still slowburn development from the cast, but every new insight and small evolution is satisfying and enjoyable.
I cannot wait for that cruise mission though. That's the best moment of the manga so far.

It started off with a bang with Part 1, but eventually mellowed out into Part 2 which was just alright.

That said, my gut feeling tells me that this Season 2 is gonna clap back and slap hard.

@Seta_Reh the show is being milked right now of a manga that has extremely questionable pacing and plot development. I read up to chapter 78 and there is way too little to justify its hype.

I stopped reading it some months ago, so my take is that it will finally focus on the Westalia plot and have less SoL.

@Nik03178 pretty accurate for someone who doesn't read the manga. Anitube is just going to shill this as the greatest piece of literature to exist just like they did in spring and in fall

I dropped the manga after chap 72, got boring because of too much sol, will pick it again soon. This season is peak of SxF, that's all I can say :)

I don't understand this criticism that people have been giving it about the pacing being bad bc of the little plot progression. So many people keep saying this but its always been a comedy SOL with cute things, its not suppose to be a plot progressive series. That stuff is more so bonus but the premise has always been to just be a fun read where you can turn your mind off and just enjoy the characters and seeing cute stuff. If people are looking for plot progression then they need to look elsewhere but this has never been the type of series where plot is the main focus. In other words, the pacing is non-existent for this type of series bc it isn't actually trying to move forward, that isn't the point of it. I'm not saying everyone has to like it but its always been a SOL comedy and should be judged based on that and if someone doesn't like the series based on those standards than that's fine.

Mid upon mid. S1 wasn't amazing and I doubt this ssason will be much better. I'll keep my eye out anyway.
