Sure, the content is quite outdated, and the animation isn't top notch, but who cares! this show is the definition of a good comedy! The plot is vague, logic is non-existent, and nothing makes sense, but by the end of each episode, all that matters is that you got a good laugh out of it.
Story is quite heart warming, characters are unique in their own way, animation is done specifically to add to the comedy, and the voice actors done their job so brilliantly that it is practically impossible to dub this anime.
In the end, everything is so light hearted and over the top that you are guaranteed to get a good laugh out of it unless you are dead inside. Definitely among the best comedy anime out there.
