Mixed Feelings
I have to admit, there were times that I laughed in this anime. Unfortunately, that's all the story had for me. The characters didn't progress too much - especially the hero and heroine... It seemed that those around them progressed in life, but their characters barely changed by the end. The hero was a complete jerk to the heroine all the way until the last episode. The last two episodes were really the only times I felt him changing into someone a little better. Why did the heroine stick to him?? Why did she put up with his hurtful abuse?? Even after marriage, he NEVER paid attention to her unless something extreme was going on (like affair or birth - which are huge!)

Another thing, is that I can understand why the hero's mother wanted her son to marry the heroine so badly (she was the main comic relief that there can be some hope for the hero if this is his mother), but what I can never understand is why the heroine's father allowed there to be a marriage at all! And, duh! He could see how abusive and rude the boy was that his daughter was in love with - why didn't he do anything about it?? Marry for love, even if it hurts you! Go for it, daughter! I support your wretched husband.

I personally was almost rooting for a divorce... Why did they even get married in the first place? The relationship went from man who hates girl, to man declaring he wants to marry girl - the very next day! Then, no time for dating to help him grow up and learn to appreciate the heroine before she becomes his... they were married in two weeks and he was a total butthead during the wedding and honey moon... on and on and on.

I can drag on forever... It was entertaining, but severely frustrating. Good luck if you watch it!
