Before I being my review, I want to say that I am not the most serious critic. I only state my opinions in my reviews, and I don't shove false facts down peoples throats saying the show is bad. With that out of the way, let me start the review.

It's been quite a while since I watched the TWGOK series, and I have only started reading the manga a few weeks ago. During that time, I've read 198 chapters, and also in the middle of that, I started watching Hunter x Hunter (2011). But, after a while, I decided to finally review the entire series, starting with the first season.

Story:8/10

The story is great. It's not that simple, and it's not that complex. A seventeen-year old high school student who does nothing but play video games all day is visited by a demon from Hell, Elucia de Lute Ima, better known as, Elsie. Elsie comes to him saying that he must capture runaway spirits, which are spirits from Hell that hide in the gaps of peoples hearts. The people who they hide in are... odd girls. He must fill the gap in their hearts with love, and, yeah. That's pretty much the show. But, it's entertaining, nevertheless.

Art: 9/10

I'm not usually too worried about art style and animation in anime anymore, I just stopped caring. I just try and not watch things that were before 1990. But, in this anime, the animation and the art style is perfect, whoever done the animation should be congratulated. I forgot which studio it was, Manglobe, was it?

Sound: 7/10

The soundtrack is great, opening is okay. Every opening in TWGOK, well, ALMOST every opening is English, but, one of the very few English songs I've heard that are actually good. So, if you know me, I absolutely despise English songs, I think they sound like garbage, and they taint the music industry. Sorry, just how I feel.

Character: 9/10

The characters are great, not one of them are hate-able at all. This season covers three arcs of the manga, which is the Ayumi Takahara arc, the Rich Girl arc (Mio Aoyama) and the Librarian arc (Shiori Shiomiya) and I say they did a good job of covering all of those characters. They were all done pretty perfectly.

Overall: 9/10

This anime series is a great start to the TWGOK series, and so far, after reading 198 chapters I feel like it will become one of my favorite manga series, and I haven't read much manga so I don't know what I can say.
(Haven't read much manga = around 50). That's my logic, aight? Have a great time.
