The story was unique, and had the same atmosphere at the other 'CoMix Wave' movies I've seen. I was really looking forward to watching this, especially after watching CoMix Wave's 'Garden of Words' and '5 Centimeters per Second', and I'm glad I did.
The beginning made me curious, and as the story went on, parts of the past were brought up, and it made me feel like it was thought through thoroughly. The ending was tear-jerking.
There isn't really much to pick fault in for this movie.
Art : 10
As expected of the producer(s), yet another gorgeously animated movie! Art as detailed as that is so satisfying to watch. 10/10 of course!
Sound : 8
Nothing to complain about here either. The ending song was good, the voices were well-suited to the characters, and I loved the music throughout the movie.
Character : 6
There isn't really much to comment on here. The three characters that actually had development were great, but they still weren't all that different from each other. I don't feel like the characters in this were anything special.
However, the lack of character did add to the atmosphere of the movie.
**SPOILER: I also liked Takuya's reaction to Hiroki's idea, it was pretty unexpected. The romance too.**

I'm a sucker for great art. The enjoyment automatically increases when the art catches my eye. Not to mention the somewhat tranquil atmosphere and unique storyline. I don't think it's quite a 10 though.
