I don't usually write reviews because I don't think it's worth my time but since I enjoyed this beautiful piece of art so much, I just couldn't help but write one. That's how excellent I think this anime is. Be prepared to read a lengthy review of why my opinion matters for something usually seen as a trivial watch.

(Also, there may be a few spoilers in the review, but I think it won't affect the outcome anyway because of just how ridiculous this hentai is)

I admit "Tokineiro", or "A Time To Screw" is a very specific anime title that many viewers will watch for the wrong reason. They expect a delightful hentai, only to gape in horror as the characters indulge in the most bizarre acts imaginable in a hentai. Such examples include maids using food to pleasure themselves or trying to shove cue balls into their genitals. Sounds dreadfully strange and gross doesn't it?

Moreover, anything that is supposed to enhance the pleasure and excitement of watching a hentai is drastically disappointing in this show. The quality of the art is appalling most of the time. The story itself is a complete mess. Throughout the entire show, you'll have basically no idea what's going on. The soundtrack is at least decently fitting at times, but the characters' dialogues are essentially so strange that it will completely reverse the atmosphere that the soundtrack is trying to make. Furthermore, the characters themselves make no sense at all. There are 3 copies of the MC walking around doing the most nonsensical things during the show, leaving many of the viewers tilting their head in a SHAFT-like manner in disbelief.

So why do I even bother suggesting a show that I made sound so terrible that it shouldn't exist in the first place? I'm confident that many of you are familiar with the term "So bad, that it's good". This is precisely the most accurate term for this show. It's so magnificently terrible, that it has become a masterpiece.

Still don't understand? The most important message I'm trying to convey here is that this show should not be seen as a hentai but as an bizarre, outrageous comedy. This is an essential part that all viewers should wholly understand before watching the show since its role solely as a hentai miserably fails at what it was originally intended to achieve. In any other circumstances, the average viewer will not be able to enjoy this show.

For maximum level of enjoyment, I highly suggest viewers to watch the dub. Though the sub is known to actually contain a plot, it is absolutely inferior to the dub in all aspects. The dub is a true work of art. It is as if the writers chose to entirely abandon the traditional, generic script of a hentai and ended up creating a brilliant comic theater. From my experience of watching these sort of things, I'm fairly certain that the writers intended the dub to be not taken seriously. Think of watching Evil Dead 2 for example.

Half the time, not only will you have no idea what's going on but your sides will be sore from laughter. I absolutely guarantee that the absurd dialogue will be etched onto your memories, leaving you to remember this hentai for being so damn ludicrous to every last detail. The effects from having such a random, ridiculous script will transform your horror into pure entertainment. You may even begin to quote the characters from this show to your friends.

The voice actors will make you cringe at times and cry from laughter. Combined with the atrocious elements that make a terrible hentai, you will end up cackling and howling in the sudden shock scenes and the slapstick entertainment. I can bet you that the actors had a lot of fun recording their voices for this master work.

Another positive addition to point out is how amazing one of the carbon copies of the main character is. I swear, he makes this one of the most philosophical hentai I've ever seen in my life. It seriously changed my perspective of the average hentai because of just how deep and profound his words were. You will be astonished to see exactly how intelligent he seems in comparison to the contrasting foils presented within the show.

A big downside in my opinion is the usage of food in the hentai. Basically, most viewers will be appalled by what they see in the upcoming scenes which potentially could ruin the experience of an otherwise glorious comedy. However, it does not necessarily mean that most of you will be "turned-off" as the entire dub was meant to be seen as an absurdity in the first place, so viewers should be perfectly aware of what's to be expected. I heavily admit that this show isn't for everyone and would like to point out that as a hentai, lewd things are bound to take place. On the contrary, if you are able to overcome this boundary, then you are in for a brilliant surprise.

I could go on for days complimenting how stupefying this extraordinary hentai is. However, there is only so much time in the human world. To wrap things up, I would like to repeat that this show isn't for everyone. On the other hand, I guarantee that as long as you watch this in a comical perspective, this can be one of the most delightful things you will see in the anime universe. Thus, I hope many of you will be enlightened by watching this strange, yet shining gem under the piles of low-budget hentai out there.
