Monster Musume and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid are both slice of life anime that about the lives of cute monster girls that live with the main character.
Both are bright comedies about a human surrounded by monsters or dragon girls. Though Monster Musume is for a more 'mature' audience, both are funny to watch.
-Both are about a supernatural entity infatuated with the protagonist invading their daily life
-Both see many more supernatural entities joining the group as the show progresses
-Both use the physique of their odd main characters to create comedic moments from typically mundane or standard activities

Both have half-human half-creature characters that are adorable. They also have good character development, and good to watch if you are looking to smile. Note: both have some fanservice

Monster Musume has a similar sense of humour with a bit more ecchi, if that's not your thing then give it a pass I guess, but I found the series pretty funny.
Both are about supernatural/non-human characters living with a normal human protagonist. They also have a similar cutesy art style and tone, though Monster Musume is definitely more over-the-top in the Ecchi department.

When I saw Monster Musume I felt almost the same as with Kobayashi-san, only that Monster Musume has things too intense compared to Kobayashi-san
There are also similarities with two characters in the two anime: Lucoa from Kobayashi-san and Centorea from Monster Musume.
Kobayashi-san is the dragon version of Monster Musume.
Kobayashi-san is not a harem because it has a female protagonist and dragons live in different houses (only two dragons live with Kobayashi). Also, there is a male dragon. This anime is also very comfortable compared to Monster Musume, has better art style and has better comedy.
