Munto (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
I watched Munto a few years ago (the subbed version). I decided to rewatch it recently and saw a dubbed version had come out. To be honest, I spend the next half an hour looking for the subbed version. Except I couldn't (still can't as I write this review).

It may just be nostalgia, but I remember liking the subbed version SO MUCH more. The dubbed version is like a fanmade version. It is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. I think other reviewers were a bit harsh. The plot was decent (though it would have been better if it had been longer). Really, the thing that ruins it is the ...

Okay, I have watched A LOT of anime in my short time, but I HONESTLY don't know what to make of this show. It had some interesting concepts, and though those concepts were not executed particularly well, I can honestly say it wasn't BAD. Each episode held my interest, and though I frequently wondered WHY I was watching this show (especially at the beginning), I wasn't really disappointed. If you need ...

However, it took me three years to get over the ending. Now, don't get me wrong; it wasn't bad. I just thought it shouldn't have been so... final. It shocked me and upset me thoroughly. That and how despite having such a compelling plot, a lot of it doesn't make sense until you get to the end.

Overall, the two things that bothered me was the ending and how the comedy seemed like a bad joke rather than ...

Okay, despite what others may say, this is a good movie to watch. I especially thought that the surprise at the ending made up for the confusion throughout. Yeah, it wasn't packed full of action, and twenty more minutes to clear up the plot would certainly have been welcome, but, regardless, I definitely thought it was worth the just shy of two hours I spent watching it.

From this point on, there WILL be SPOILERS. The next section are for people who watched the movie and were confused. This should clear up a lot.

Let's start from the beginning.
