Writing this review for self-satisfaction, just like my other reviews.
Personally, I don't find any issues with a run through of the second season, but it wasn't at all necessary. I mean, a series of specials would've been much more appreciated. Being a manga-read of Yakusoku no Neverland, the anime was already a recap to me.
For anyone who forgets or didn't understand what was going on in S2, i'd recommend you watch this. Otherwise, for the majority of the rest of the people, there's no real reason for you to watch it.
As for the Season 1 portion of the show, it's been a whole year
...
since i've watched it and was a fairly good refresher to me. Although they reiterated everything within a single episode, i suppose it didn't waste too much of my time, giving "Tokubetsu-hen" extra points.

Here I am, writing an honest review about a more soft-core sided ecchi series. After watching 50+ hentai shows, I'm fairly sure that i've been exposed to the fun side of the anime spectrum. Who knows what'd happen if my parents, let alone my friends saw this review..
TL;DR - It isn't that bad of an anime people make it to be. It's a solid guilty pleasure series with an added bonus. **please un-censor them**
Story/Plot - 7

the 'good' parts :smirk:), it's a real guilty pleasure watching every step of Keyaru's bloodthirsty revenge. I mean, what's there not to like for a degenerate like me; collecting slaves along the road, letting them play around with some bananas and roleplaying as .. wait-- this is serious. The torturing scenes were gruesome, but I loved it. Every second of it reminded me that the revenge was gonna be epic.
Art - 8
Nothing much to say about the art, it's 2021 anime afterall. Pretty solidly done, no unnecessary 3D/CGI (*cough Ex-Arm) and everything looks appealing for us watchers. Even the shmecks scenes are done quite well and blinds the unexposed watchers from seeing things they don't need to. I'd recommend not watching the censored version, since most of the good parts are utterly garbage.
Sound - 5
The sound was really mediocre. There wasn't much that stuck out to me; the opening was a bit generic, although the ending was half-decent. I've been in the music community for a while now and the soundtracks were pretty okay. The silent moments are timed well, though.
Character - 6
Each of the characters are solidly built and have their own backstories that are quite entertaining to listen to (although unnecessary). Keyaruga is an honest to god CHAD of an MC, who knows how it goes around town, seriously. The first two slaves that were introduced are perfect material for bestgirl, especially Setsuna, with a synchronous personality to our MC's. Not much character development thus far, but i'm hoping something good happens.
Enjoyment - 9
This part is quite obvious. The shmecks scenes are creative and leave me hard enough to nearly call my enjoyment quality a masterpiece. Not only this, every scene where the MC makes his move is so badass, you can't help but cheer him on. I'd really recommend this show to anyone who's looking for some intense vengeance plots to satisfy your average horny male/female.

I don't think i've ever watched a movie that blew me away within the short span of one-and-a-half hours. I couldn't stop thinking about the movie; it felt like I watched something precious leave my hand, yet, come back to me. I decided to write this review on "Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai" or "I want to eat your pancreas," while it was fresh in my mind.

going on, and the characters were very minimalist, showing us both of our main characters' perspectives of this world. The movie is what you would call a "short and sweet" film. Before I knew it, tears came about, no matter how much I thought I wouldn't cry.
Story: 7
The story starts us off with quite a miserable scene; a funeral for a certain someone, and our male lead staying at home. We're then cut to a hospital, in which our main character comes across a journal of a girl, (no, not the death note) which he then learns that this girl has a disease. The story goes about with a fair amount of clichés although it doesn't leave you hanging with each moment. I do think that the story lacks a bit, but it works out through and through.
Art: 9
The art is without a doubt a highlight, you would definitely notice from the beginning, each and every detail. The art is subtle and reminded me of Makoto Shinkai's films' artstyle. Every inch of detail, from the water, to skin; hell, even a glass of sake.
Sound: 8
The sound comes through when it needs to. Notes of piano during moments of sadness, wonderful OSTs during moments of joy, even silences are timed correctly. Now, sound doesn't just include music, it also includes sound effects. Trains rushing by, clean cuts, rain pouring, fireworks, everything works out quite well. Ending this section off, the opening and ending I really, really liked. The ending especially, kept me through the movie, so I could see the ending and credits.
Character: 7
Here's a section i thought was incredible, but also lacking. In terms of the positives, it's without a doubt the relationship between our two main characters-- Sakura Yamauchi and [SPOILER] Shiga. There were so many scenes where both of them complemented each other's personality; aiding them and their characters to become a part of each other. As for the other characters, they were a tad bit lazily done. Generic side characters, the overprotective friend and that one tough dude that wants yo girl. Oh, also, the parents didn't even have names, they were simply called "Yamauchi Mother" or "Yamauchi Father." They weren't too important, but c'mon.
Enjoyment: 10
I loved it through and through. There's a reason why this movie is one of my favorites. The climax was SO well done, with the opening of the notebook, I knew what was coming, but yet I still didn't know how much my eyes would react to the ending. The movie was short, but that's what made it so good. I still don't know how one hour was all it took for me to bawl.

I don't document the manga I read on MAL, but Tomo-chan has a special place in my heart, being the very first manga I actually read, back in 2016. This manga was probably one of the reasons why I really got into the whole anime industry and otaku culture. I may be a 'lil biased, but here goes:
Story: 6/10
The story of "Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko" is quite simple. A gorl with a big rack is known for being considered a boy by Jun, the boy mc. It's a bit basic and cliche, but its quite addictive, with the mass amounts of cutesiness and fun that occurs

Art: 8/10
The art, as always is quite good. I can't really say much, it does the job well enough. The quick and easy panels to read are very beneficial and easily goes through your brain and keeps you entertained.
Characters: 9/10
Now-- the characters are really what in MY mind are the highlights of this show. The basis of each of them are generic, but are really memorable, each and every one of them. The rich girl, the sadistic girl, the oppressive father, etc. They give an opportunity for each of these characters to shine.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I thoroughly enjoyed the manga, and couldn't stop reading a few years ago. If you asked me to re-read it, I probably would. It isn't memorable in the sort of way that leaves a scar in your heart, changes your opinion on a genre, or utterly confuses you. It's memorable in the way that even a basic story can be eternally entertaining.
Overall: 8/10
Hopefully this manga gets an anime adaptation.

I know that writing a review in 2020 on an anime that was released in 2012 is idiotic, but crap, Inferno Cop was the peak of anime. For those people that say that giving IC a 10 is "a joke", it isn't; well, not to me, at least.
Story: 8
Similar to other anime making fun of other genres, like konosuba for isekai and danshi koukousei no nichijou for slice of life, Inferno Cop takes a hilarious plot twist on the "shounen/superhero genre." It's an anime about beating up crippled women, killing your own director and destroying god himself. It's such a fresh take.

has made SO many amazing adaptations, including Gurren Lagann, Little Witch Academia, and of course, Kill La Kill. But even through all of this, they've utterly and completely proven that you don't need to have "flashy animation", or "aesthetically pleasing motion" to make a masterpiece. Studio Trigger takes their pride and says, "screw you, you worthless piece of garbage." They literally shame every other anime adaptation of which are only good because of the animation quality.
Sound: 10
Now, this was probably the easiest choice of my life. The sound effects, ending music, EVERYTHING, was absolutely impeccable. But even so, there was one thing that made me easily attracted to the sound, and that was the voice acting. Oh boy, here we go. The voice actors of this anime are able to replace characters from male to female, all ranges, and still sound professional. I laughed my ass off every time the reporter came up and said a word.
Characters: 10
I can't really say much about this one, every character in this show is memorable in some way, and for me, what makes the best characters are ones which have some kind of impact on an anime. Inferno Cop executes it so well!
Enjoyment: yes/yes
If I could rate the enjoyment factor above 10, I would. Everything works together SO, so well and makes me want to watch this anime over and over again, rather than spending my time with some shitty plotted, high budgeted anime with waifus. So yeah, that's enough of this, movin on to my overall thoughts.
Overall: 10
I couldn't ask more than to find an anime as funny as this. I first came across Inferno Cop on someone's anime list and wondered, what makes this anime worth a 10? From my perspective, it looked like your generic "save the day" kind of anime, but once I watched a single episode, I was hooked. Inferno Cop is one of the few anime that I could binge hundreds and hundreds of episodes, if there were more.
THIS is what Studio Trigger is known for in my books. :`)
