This is a beautiful BL story. I'm extremely picky with BL and it mostly has to do with art style for me. Meguru Hinohara's art style is absolutely gorgeous and very soft and that's one of the biggest reasons I fell for this series.
Art put to the side and onto the story, I really enjoy the story. The God and human romance concept is very interesting and I like how they portray the Gods as being formed by stories created by humans instead of your typical high-powered god.
It's a very sweet story and I look forward to volume three coming out. Highly recommend

As someone who grew up with a variety of Shoujo and romance manga in general, this manga was right up my ally. It has been on my list for a while and after one episode of the anime, I couldn't wait for the next episode. So, I went onto the manga and honestly read all 23 chapters in one night. I'm a sucker for a good romance and this definitely did it for me. Here is my personal breakdown of my opinion:

My friend suggested the manga to me after she heard it was different than the anime series. I decided to give it a shot myself as I was very curious. The manga is really good, and I honestly prefer it over the anime.
The story feels a lot more developed and fleshed out to where I want to keep reading. Towa's character feels more developed as well. Also feel the art style is very fitting for a "modern" Inuyasha sequel story. The only reason I marked it as an 8 at the moment is due to only one volume being out right now. Volume one did ...

I very much enjoy Junji Ito's work and slowly reading more and more of his manga's. Remina was quite an interesting mix of horror and sci fi and Junji Ito's art style really adds into it. Junji Ito's portrayal of humans obsessions and anger is really incredible and quite disturbing. I tended to forget that I was reading about a horrifying planet but was quite distracted with just how messed up humans can me in the story.
However, I personally wasn't latched onto it as much as his other manga, "Uzumaki." I feel Remina is worth a try, but for me it's not really a favorite ...

It's very hard to rate this manga because I have a more personal love for this series. This series has honestly helped be through rough times in my personal life so it holds a very special place in my heart.
Does the art give off One Piece Vibes? Yes. But the story is very much different and has a variety of main characters. Even minor characters are very lovable.
