LOGH is a wonderful story. How I wish that more stories in anime were as well written and thought out. LOGH is slow paced no question about it but the attention to detail and the building of the characters creates a well built world with a very seldom seen use of politics and war. The enormous amount of plotting and politics that goes on in the story can be boring. However for someone like myself who loves politics and the confrontation between different governing systems it is like mind candy. The war tactics that they use are also just as fun (mentally) as the politics.

Quick and simple: The characters other than Amuro and Char are annoying and pointless. The introduction of new characters especially the new girl drove me crazy. There simply wasn't a need for them and, in the end, no one cares about them. The story doesn't flow well but that plauged the original gundam as well and by the end it all makes sense so I guess I can say it works in a way. The most important part of the movie is the conclusion between Amuro and Char. It delivers and is worth it completely. If you are into there rivalry between them there is

Fairy Tail is awesome. This is the typical shonen series but without many of the flaws of say bleach or DBZ (and I still Love DBZ to the end). This is an all around great anime. The music is epic and it really pushes the emotion of the story. The arcs are what impress me the most. The length of each arc is just right in my opinion. They don't drag it out, plain and simple. Not only that they are well thought out. The characters are stereotypical but the dimensional characters do not drag down the story. Also there back stories are really interesting

I understand why some people love this anime. The art and music are outstanding. They practically save the show. I have to say that the entire story concept is really good. The legendary heroes fighting it out is awesome and many of the fights in the series are wonderful. The problem lies with the characters. They are sooooooo freakin terrible. How is anyone able to stand them? Each and every character with the exception of a few heroes is ridiculously annoying and stereotypical. Shirou is absolutely predictable and one dimensional.
