certainly an improvement on the first season.
what I liked:
less focus Alibaba and his whining
more focus on Alladin
anti-racism message *clap clap clap*
What I didn't like:
not enough morgiana ahhhh
Also, the animation was still arse, the fight's dull and anti-climatic, and too much of "talk no jutsu".

well, this series did incite me with all those Arabian night references, and the sweet promises of dungeon exploration and lot's of cool magic, but seem it soon devolved into another "battle shounen" aah well at least it had some politics in the background that kept me interested but other than that I can't say I enjoyed much here, the characters were ehh except Morgana, who was a cool female mc for a change.
also, the battles were meh, too much sword fighting for a show about magic, and I don't even wanna talk about those powerups, and then when the magic was used in battles ...

The main character is a genius that can think out of a paper bag and fill it up with enough fart so everyone taking a sniff out of it can relive the glory.
The main female character is a bumbling airhead who is curious about everything but don't want to think. The other female character is bitchy cause reasons. The secondary male character is internally depressed cause umm... well, reasons. so, what kind of anime is Hyouka? hmm... well do you like mystery then you probably won't find anything good here, unless you like puns like "I scream, you scream, we scream, ice-cream", do you like entertaining anime? ... |
