i just finished the movie, finished the series earlier today, i dont know how to feel about this series, i was like really enjoying the anime and starting to get with the character development and the way the series worked, then by the end i got all confused again, watching the movie today cleared my mind about some stuff, but i guess this anime really wasnt it for me, i dont think shinji is a bad character like every one says, but at the same time i find it very difficult to pity him or have any positive feelings towards him at all (mostly after ... the hospital scene) i do think he is a little bitch besides all the problems and traumas he has to deal with, but man did it upset me, its not a bad series by anyway, i mean i've been thinking about the series nonstop since i finished it and this is my very first time reviewing something, so that gotta say something by itself, why to summarize it, i do recomend the series and think its worth watching all the way. you might have a different take on the series since i think it has a lot of stuff that its very personnal about everyone so i guess its a different experience for each, i just guess it wasnt what i was expecting but at the same i enjoyed most of it, as the review says, mixed feelings about this, sorry if this got a little confusing, as i said this is my first review and english is not my primary language, by all means watch it and i would love to read other takes about it.
