Random facts
- Anime: As you can see, I tend to gravitate to historicals, fantasy and some slice-of-life series that have good plot and good characterisation, a bit of action, light comedy and romance in the mix.(some smut doesn't hurt as well~)
- Manga: Though you can find a number of bl/yaoi titles in my list, I'm actually more of a josei & seinen fan~ I find there's more good manga in the bl/yaoi genre than anime (sadly).
- In terms of fandom pairings I can go both ways, but preference is for het =D I love a good fic.
- I'm not a huge fan of mecha, horror or cutesy moe-moe series.
- I don't want the characters to look or be too young, whether girls or guys =P Shota is something I try to avoid.
- I like J-dramas more than anime (usually). I prefer watching real people ^_~ I do believe that there can be drama better than the anime/manga series eg. Nodame Cantabile - nothing beat the live orchestra, and Hana Kimi (the jdrama) was tons of fun even though I prefered Umeda sensei in the manga. Even the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon drama was amusing though cheesy lol.
- I don't really follow seiyuus (find it hard to remember the names ^^(), and I only watch anime for the story or characters anyway), but I love a deep smooth voice (for men) and for female characters no high-pitched voices please =.=~
