I read this manga when it first came out as a kid, completely forgot about it, found it again this year (2023) & had so much fun reading it again! I have been on this re-reading marathon for all of the shoujos I read in the past, and I will say I have certain expectations for shoujo (since I am already 22 this yr), and Koukou Debut really did not disappoint!

oh boy this manga really did not age well. the writer tried to push in too many twists and they turn out to be not coherent and did not add to the stories overall. all the characters are very bland as well and no major development
warning: contains homophobia, incest, DOUBLE DOWN on the incest (dear lord), sexual harassment with no consent, you name it…. for the smut scenes I give it a 4, would have been a 3 for me smh. If you want a trashy shoujo for entertainment I’d say go ahead, but if you are looking for something deeper/more meaningful, run 🏃♀️ |
