So here is my first anime review, I hope you like it!
Kuokai no Kanata or Beyond the Boundary, is a fairly good fantasy based anime. I would recommend this to viewers that enjoy shows that involve enjoyable main characters with supernatural powers fighting demons or monsters. While based on its light novel counterpart, Beyond the Boundary does a decent job of explaining the world to viewers but still ends up leaving loose ends.
Story:
The main story of BoB is very good, being adapted from a light novel, it offers a typical journey of hero is introduced, hero fights demons, hero is in peril, and hero
...
is saved. The story in my opinion is broken off into two parts, the first have of the 12 episodes is setting of the viewer of getting familiar with the characters. The latter half is all about the typical journey I previously mentioned. Even though the story may be similar to other fantasy themed anime this one is sprinkled with likable characters that gives the story some special flavor.
Art:
While this is my first review at most I can say is that the art is pretty good, the fighting scenes were fun to watch and the models of the characters were very good.
Sound:
The funny thing about the anime is that the background music fit so perfectly with the tone of the story that I barley even noticed it. As Im writing this section of the review I have to think IF I heard any background music. So don't expect any music to blow you away in amazement. But I did end up becoming a fan of the ending song.
Character:
The characters of BoB are the strongest part of this anime, each character is equally amusing and interesting. My favorite characters were of course Akihito and Mirai. Akihito is a blond who has a fetish for girls wearing glasses, and Mirai is a girl who does happen to wear glasses. each of these characters complement each other and of course end up making this anime enjoyable.
Enjoyment:
In all I would say that the enjoyment of the anime is really good, with its likable characters, I never failed to smile or laugh after hearing "how unpleasant". While nothing notable make me jump out of me seat in excitement, I still found this anime fun to watch and would recommend it to others
