One word when comes to this bombing action-romance series of the year, The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 (LN/manga vol 3 - "Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - Double Seven-hen") = EVENTFULLEST!!
As expected, this season has improved and original as it is.
The story in this season (atleast 4 episodes earlier) seems off a bit compared to LN/Manga, however the production succeed show the highlights of the main contents.
Audio/SFX/VFX and translations have improved compare to last season. The "spell/skills/magics" animations just almost WOW-factor, very detailed as well, I guess the animators have upgrade their methods I presume, and thinking out-of-box/full of imaginations. Ara Araa...
Since this
...
series is all about Saegusa's twins and Shippou (main-storytelling characters in this season) families, there is a tension, basically intense between the MC and them. The MC still keep his cool and low-profile as usual, moreover remain his objectives/goals till episode 4 (the actual beginning of this season). Talking about MCs, overall, MC still "manly" awesome and female MC still blissfully "brocon" as always in this series.
The VAs also devoting themselves into their characters as well, which can make the viewers feel their happy/anger/mad/sad "expressions", similar to previous seasons.
Overall, as always, I do recommend you watch this after you watched the previous seasons since its co-related. I suggest read manga too (but some of em are discontinued, so you can continue with LN).

WARNING: MUST WATCH all Date A Live Season 1-4 (incl. Side story) before proceed to this Season 5!!
Interesting story and plot this time, the more understanding will/might be clear in this season after you watched all Season 1 till 4, so this season basically the explanations why and how the Spirit is exists, obviously, because of romances which is Dates.
But DO expect more surprises every each episodes in this season, because every reveals and secrets might be shock the viewers.
Fighting-scene or Action-wise still considerable good but not wow-factor, and lack in this season since its focusing on the "history" or basically, about Shido/Shins' and Reine/Mio's
...
past (about 30+ years ago).
I noticed the movement or translations/animations in this anime cause motion-sickness which caused me headache (not because i am aging, I don't feel motion-sickness at any other anime that has same genres). Previous seasons were just fine. So, that's the main reason I couldn't rate this season more than 8/10.
Audio and SFX wise OK. I can feel the VA's really into the characters, the SFX also seems nothing much improvements compare to previous seasons.
So overall, story-wise/VA/surprises/directions are improved. But technically (mainly SFX and VFX), the production really need to do something about it. This wasn't happened compare to previous seasons.

Unique romcom story I have read so far when it comes to universe. Believe me, I love how the author playing around with the plot and storyline.
The characters are not you can expect perfect but they are adorable cute. Moreover, these cuteness characters also hilarious funny. I have laughed a lot while reading the manga. Every chapters have its own comedies if you are into the romcom and humor-type of person.
The story is a bit slow, but after 20+ chapters, it begun the real actions. After 30+, there you go, the love-confusions things happen, and still funnier.
Overall, I recommend you read this manga, don't expect
...
too much just enjoy the story and the romcom. Hopefully there's an adaption toward this manga too. Looking forward to it.

Konosuba... you wont ever regret to watch it at its best funniest humors, actions and unexpected story lines!
To be honest, there's a lot of improvements after watched these 3 episodes compare with previous seasons.
- The textures, smoothness and every details were improved and advanced in this season compare with previous seasons.
- Expressions And Voice-Acting Over the Top when its comes to Aqua and Kazuma, probably they know that both of them are the most favored in this anime-industries. Same goes Megumin and Darkness.
- Every episode has its own plot and how they (Kazuma Team) resolve their environment and surrounding.

Grow Old and Share Together:
The heart of the film lies in Kaoru's desire to reunite with his deceased sister, Karen. He stumbles upon a mysterious time-bending tunnel rumored to grant wishes in exchange for years of one's life. The film cleverly flips the script on the typical "wish for a better past" trope. Instead, Kaoru's wish is to simply spend more time with Karen, to grow old with her, and experience life together. This unconventional desire adds depth and emotional weight to his journey.
Under the Surface of Time Travel:
While the time-travel element plays a pivotal role, the film wisely avoids focusing on the mechanics of
...
the tunnel or creating complex paradoxes. Instead, it uses time travel as a tool to explore the emotional consequences of Kaoru's choices. He witnesses Karen's life unfold, experiences her joys and sorrows, and ultimately learns to accept her absence.
More Than Just a "What-If":
The film transcends a simple "what-if" scenario. It's not just about changing the past, but about learning from it and appreciating the present. Kaoru's journey through time forces him to confront his guilt and regret, ultimately leading to acceptance and closure. The film subtly teaches viewers to cherish the present moments with loved ones and stop wasting time on regrets.
Visually Stunning and Emotionally Resonant:
The animation in Natsu e no Tunnel is breathtaking, with vibrant colors, detailed backgrounds, and expressive character designs. The film masterfully captures the beauty of the rural Japanese setting and the emotional turmoil of the characters. The soundtrack further elevates the experience, with melancholic melodies that perfectly complement the story's themes.

Shortening the Rent-A-Girlfriend Shadow (Improved one) / Better than Rent-A-Girlfriend that has 310+ chaps (yet unfinished) LOL:
Jirou Yakuin, our studious yet clueless protagonist, gets paired with Akari Watanabe, a flamboyant gyaru, for a school "marriage training" project. Unlike Kazuya's transactional woes in Rent-A-Girlfriend, Jirou and Akari genuinely try to make their fake marriage work, hoping to secure a better partner for their real crushes. This shift in motivation alone sets the tone for a more mature and nuanced exploration of relationships.
Underwhelming and Satisfying:
The manga initially feels like a rom-com comfort food. The premise is familiar, the humor is lighthearted, and the cutesy interactions between Jirou
...
and Akari are pure fluff. But then, the roller coaster takes a sharp turn. Misunderstandings deepen, emotions flare, and past traumas come to light, revealing a surprising amount of depth beneath the surface. This emotional whiplash might initially feel underwhelming, but it's precisely this subversion of expectations that makes the eventual resolutions so satisfying.
Emotional Rollercoaster:
Get ready to laugh, cry, and swoon in equal measure. Jirou and Akari's journey is one of self-discovery and emotional growth. They confront their insecurities, challenge societal expectations, and learn to accept themselves and each other. The supporting characters, too, have their own struggles and triumphs, adding layers of emotional resonance to the narrative. Just when you think you've got a handle on things, another curveball gets thrown, keeping you invested and engaged until the very end.
Designs to Fall in Love With:
Yakuin's art style is a breath of fresh air. The characters are expressive and adorable, with distinct personalities that shine through their visuals. From Akari's vibrant gyaru fashion to Jirou's awkward charm, each character design is a delight to behold. The backgrounds are detailed without being overwhelming, and the use of panels and pacing effectively conveys the emotional beats of the story.
A Great Story, Worth the Read:
More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers is more than just a rom-com. It's a story about self-acceptance, the complexities of relationships, and the power of vulnerability. It's a testament to the fact that sometimes, the most unexpected pairings can lead to the most profound connections. So, if you're looking for a manga that will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between, look no further. This is one rollercoaster ride you won't want to miss.
Final Verdict: A must-read for fans of heartwarming rom-coms with surprising depth. Prepare for emotional whiplash, adorable characters, and a story that will stay with you long after you finish the last chapter.

P.S. Don't be fooled by the "not lovers" part of the title. This manga will have you rooting for Jirou and Akari to become more than just fake spouses by the end.

Unique and Modern Isekai-Type Story
Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai offers a fresh take on the isekai genre by blending traditional elements with a modern setting and a more nuanced protagonist. The story follows Leonis, a powerful demon lord from another world who is reincarnated into the body of a young boy in a world where magic and technology coexist.
Great Designs, Visuals, and Productions
The anime boasts impressive animation and character designs, capturing the vibrant world of Excalibur Academy and the diverse personalities of its inhabitants. The action sequences are well-choreographed and visually appealing, while the backgrounds and environments are rich in detail.
Harem with a Twist
The anime embraces
...
the harem trope, but it subverts expectations by featuring a younger protagonist and introducing romantic elements gradually. The female characters are each unique and endearing, adding depth and complexity to the harem dynamics.
Catchy Ending Theme
The anime's ending theme, "Believe in the Light," is a catchy and upbeat tune that perfectly complements the show's overall tone. The song's lyrics capture the themes of hope, perseverance, and the power of friendship.
Slow-Pace Story
The anime's story progression is somewhat slow-paced, dedicating significant time to character development and world-building. While this approach allows for a more immersive experience, it may not appeal to viewers who prefer a faster-paced narrative.
Cute Female Characters
The anime's female characters are undeniably cute and charming, each with distinct personalities and designs. They play significant roles in the story, adding humor, heart, and romantic tension to the narrative.
Mixed Feelings
Overall, Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai delivers a mixed bag of experiences. It offers a unique and modern take on the isekai genre, complemented by impressive animation, endearing characters, and a catchy ending theme. However, the slow-paced story and the harem elements with a younger protagonist may not appeal to all viewers (major turned-off).
The anime's strengths lie in its world-building, character development, and refreshing take on the isekai genre. It will likely resonate with fans of isekai anime who appreciate a more nuanced protagonist, endearing female characters, and a blend of traditional and modern storytelling elements. However, those seeking a fast-paced action-packed isekai may find the anime's slower pace and focus on character interactions less engaging.

Wasted First Two Episodes
The anime's opening episodes squander precious time with unnecessary exposition and character introductions that could have been handled more efficiently. The slow start fails to captivate viewers and sets a disappointing tone for the rest of the series.
Slideshow-like Animation
The anime's animation quality is subpar, resembling a slideshow of PowerPoint transitions rather than fluid and engaging visuals. The lack of dynamic movement and character expressiveness detracts from the overall viewing experience.
Color Palette over Visual Depth
While the anime boasts vibrant colors, it fails to compensate for its lack of visual depth and detail. The backgrounds and environments are often bland and uninspired, lacking the
...
intricate details that bring an anime world to life.
Contrasting Character Designs
The anime's female character designs are generally appealing, showcasing a variety of body types and personalities. However, the male character designs are inconsistent and often fall short, lacking the same level of attention and detail.
Anime for Girls, Not Ladies
The anime's overall tone and themes cater primarily to a younger female audience, focusing on superficial elements like harem tropes and idealized male protagonists. It fails to resonate with a broader audience, particularly older viewers seeking a more mature isekai experience.
Excessive Dialogue over Action
The anime relies heavily on dialogue and exposition, often at the expense of action sequences and character development. The lack of engaging action scenes and the abundance of tedious dialogue make for a slow-paced and uninspired viewing experience.
Slow and Lame Story Pace
The anime's story progression is sluggish and uneventful, lacking the captivating twists and turns that define a compelling isekai narrative. The overall plot feels uninspired and fails to deliver the thrills and adventure one expects from the genre.
Unconventional Isekai Elements
The anime deviates from traditional isekai tropes in some ways, but these departures often feel forced and unnecessary. The protagonist's overpowered skills and lack of significant challenges make for a less engaging isekai experience.
Arcade-like Background Music
The anime's background music is reminiscent of old arcade games, lacking the emotional depth and thematic resonance that complement the narrative. The generic and repetitive tunes fail to enhance the viewing experience.
Introduction of New Characters
The anime introduces a few new characters that add some intrigue and potential for development. Their introduction offers a glimmer of hope for the series, but the overall execution remains underwhelming.

Overall Recommendation: It's up to you!
Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa fails to deliver on the promise of an exciting and engaging isekai adventure. Its underwhelming animation, slow-paced story, and lack of compelling characters make it a disappointing addition to the genre. While there are a few redeeming qualities, such as the introduction of new characters, the overall experience falls short of expectations. Unless you're seeking a lighthearted and unchallenging isekai anime with minimal action and a focus on harem tropes, this series is unlikely to satisfy your cravings for an immersive and captivating isekai experience.
