To each his own, but I don't get how you arrived at Aldnoah.Zero having better character development. That's shaping up to be irrefutably false

I like Tokyo Ghoul better because it's morally gray. The similarities between the ghouls and the ghoul hunters are really starting to be touched upon whereas the morality is totally black and white in Aldnoah. Also, Inaho is just awful. He is completely inhuman.

Haha, yes, it's a pretty good romantic comedy with a lot of energy, so thanks for the rec!

My problem with Aldnoah.Zero is that the characters are ridiculous. Besides Slaine, none of them even feel human; just soulless representations of ideas or archetypes. That especially goes for Inaho.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I certainly do appreciate constructive criticism. It's just that it isn't uncommon to hear from people who are, well, "less than" constructive

Actually, I think this season is very weak. The only ones standing out to me are Barakamon and Zankyou. I thought last season was bad, but at least that season had Mushishi, Jojo, and Ping Pong (all of which were supposedly very good) whereas this season doesn't have anything like that. What have you been watching this season that's good? Anything you recommend I pick up?

That just comes with being a reviewer; you get lot of hate, but also a lot of compliments. Some people just can't handle dissenting opinions.

Watching a handful of anime this season. Enjoying Zankyou no Terror, Akame ga Kill and Tokyo ESP. Tokyo Ghoul has been pretty good as well. Barakamon isn't too bad but pretty funny.

A little hesitant with Aldnoah.Zero at the moment.
SAO II is a bit better than Alfheim Online so giving it a go.
