I don't see any reason for it not to be a long running manga. But the only problem is not many studios seem to adapt anime into long running anime any more. There was potential for that with Nanatsu No Taizai but they just went with two cours for that. Maybe if MHA gets adapted by Madhouse it might since they something to replace Hunter x Hunter. We can only hope ^_^

Yes exactly! The fanbase is huge in Japan (it's getting ranked in the top 3, first place quite often, in SJ's rankings) and it just recently got announced that it's being translated by Viz so that menas all the people that don't read it scanulated will get a chance to read. And that also means English volumes ^_^
