hello matey! glad you read hoshi wa utau awwwww yeh it's so sad, but also awesome. I think I'm one chapter behind now but I've been putting off reading it as the last chapter I read ended up with the guy's ex in tokyo waking up, I was like :-O and also noooo! and also :( awwww. and yeh I have loads of suggestions :D did you ever read strobe edge? would deffo recommend that... also one called 'piece of cake' it's unfinished but really good. I'll have a little think about other ones I've read and recommend them to you :D

hope alls good with you, mega lame about work not giving you compensation for your kindle. takes the piss.... will Amazon be ok replacing it even if it's not a hardware fault?

also yeh you could deffo watch anime on your Note, as I watch it on my S2 and obvs it's a much smaller screen, and it's fine to watch it in bed.

ah awesome you finished Happy Cafe :D I did love the ending but I would have liked a kiss... other than that it was perfect. Also yay you should read maid sama :) actually I would also recommend the new one by the woman who wrote fruits basket - it's called hoshi wa utau. the only thing is that only 56 out of 65 chapters have been scanlated, and the girl who scanlates them is doing so very slowly (one a month) so yeh you might not want to start it yet. though if you can deal with waiting a month in between chapters then I'd say go for it, as it's really awesome, quite sad and heart achey (if that makes sense) loool I've got so many suggestions for you, coz bex doesn't read/enjoy shoujo that much, so there are loads I've been bursting to discuss with someone haha. I'll try not to be overbearing with the suggestions tho ;)

I'm guessing you're getting in quite a bit of manga reading on your night shifts then? also the manga must look amazing on the Note :-O it looks amazing as it is on the S2, and the Note is a bigger screen isn't it? so jealous!

yay come to daves! I'm sure you can get cheap megabus or national express, surely? and would be awesome to see you....

hey mate chan! yeh had a nice weekend. I went round to see the kittens... so cute! one of them is a very sicky kitty though, lots of sneezing and weepy eye, which I think is part and parcel of having a pedigree rather than a good old hardy moggy ;)

I've been meaning to ask you if you've been keeping up with skip beat, coz I caught up myself recently and was totally loving it. also there are quite a few chapters of dengeki out :) and the recent few have been awesome, kurosaki = sex god haha. omg! so hot :D also YAY for you reading happy cafe :) let me know if you want me to post you volumes 6 and 7, as I think it's those that are the crappy scans (unless you've already got past those??). Happy to do it as it'll only cost me like one pound or something. also haha yeh all the boys want her, lol. awww I loved that actually, I may have to read it again sometime. I was always very much pro her and the dark haired guy in the shop (can't remember his name) but I was also keen on her and the younger dark haired guy who worked in the other shop. awwww. but yeh, loved it. also the drawings in it just cracked me up, the mangaka would often just draw a very simplified person (basically a round head, mouth and nose) and it would always make me laugh the silly expressions on their face. aw yeh will have to read that again sometime, it was deffo one of my faves, actually think it was on my favourites list for a while.

Yeh I get the impression from Charles she is not very happy, I text her this week about Lisa's thing and arranging timings etc, and she said she was feeling down coz Jesse's been away. It's tough, but I also know from second hand (i.e. Steve, and my mum) that Jesse has his own issues with Charlie, which I think (and this is only me speculating) has contributed to him doing his usual thing of running away from a problem. Well that's my sort of view anyway though obvs I don't really know the situation properly given I haven't spoke to her about it in a while. I'm planning to have a proper chat with her about it this weekend to see what she thinks. of course there are things I think which I would never be able to say to her about... (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) but hopefully will be able to help her in some way anyway.

can I also just say I am so massively gutted you aren't coming to Liverpool this weekend :( it won't be the same without you there... also I was gonna ask you on Twitter but then thought better of it (ha) but are you going to Dave's surprised birthday thing?

also been watching hanasakeru, think I will concentrate on watching that until I've finished. not really feeling gintama at the moment :-/ and not really watching much else, so thought I'd try something shoujo-y. feel like it was a good choice :) plus lulu voice guy (jun fukyama) has come into it now, which is even better :)
