Don't let the art and the uninspired intro to turn you off. Its predecessor may have better art but this remake/reboot is superior in terms of pacing and cohesion of story. This anime does a great job at making a relatively simple story enjoyable to watch. The ones who created this work did a great job fleshing out each character making them stand out and unique. This is more of a romance anime rather than a harem.

(13/24 eps seen) The chemistry between our two main characters and the development of the supporting cast as the weeks come by make this quite a treat to watch. The cliffhangers are perfectly utilized making the viewer more hungry each week. The hints and small important details hidden in the metaphors keep the viewer attentive for most of the time. Even though the fights seem to be cartoonish , the story make up for it a hundredfold.
Even though this anime is reminiscent of other works of science fiction, it still manages to captivate the viewer with its masterful storytelling and presentation ...

Story: 10 - It was really good. It made me laugh so hard. I was amazed by how Mahiro is so deceiving. Also,there are some lines that are thought provoking. Since, this was apparently canceled, you will be left wanting for more after you finish reading it. Art: 8 - It is detailed but not messy. It was nice. The fanservice was just added in for comedic effect and was not forced. Character: 10 - Since it was a light novel adaptation, the characters were integrated well. It had a promising plot but they just failed to properly execute it. They tried to do to much in 11 chapters.If it were a little bit longer, it wouldn't be this bad. Art 3/10 The manga was poorly drawn. It looks a little bit too messy. They tried to make it scary and shocking but it just didn't affect me at all. Character 2/10 The characters lack personality.
