Pretty decent, now I'm not saying it's the best since I have seen better. I tried this out after running out of what to watch. Unlike most anime series, this anime does not run on much cliches situations and characters and it is very engrossing.
PLOT(6.5/10): Basically the plot begins with a girl, Akane, who just broke up with her gamer boyfriend. He claims to have found a better girl in the game, Forest of Savior they play together. This really devastates her, realizing that for now on she is going to be alone. She logs into the Forest of Savior and meets an afro wizard

character whose in-game name is Yamada. Her encounter with him was quite dry. She quickly realizes that he is someone with terrible communication skills as he repeatedly answers with 'right' 'okay' and 'I'm not interested' when she rants about her recent breakup. Heartbroken, she goes through the breakup makeup over and pampers herself in an attempt to get over her ex. She goes to a Forest of Savior convention knowing her ex was most likely attending. She stumbles upon the crowd and falls while no one takes notice of her or helps her up. Near tears, a blue haired guy which she calls 'handsome' picks up her heel and asks her if she's okay. She quickly gets up and babbles about being okay as he replies dryly. She finds this encounter familiar and she realizes that he is Yamada. She calls out to him as he walks away. As this occurs, Akane's ex runs towards Yamada with his new girlfriend, ignoring the presence of Akane. He had recognized Yamada as he had been a long term fan of his. Realizing that Yamada is famous, Akane takes advantage of the situation and lies to her ex saying that Yamada is her boyfriend, tempting him with a game coupon. Akane's ex barely takes notice of her and this news disheartens him because Yamada has never regarded him after commenting on every video. Akane's ex hops in and tries to calm him down, this makes Akane jealous seeing that his new girlfriend is cute and that they did seem to make a good couple. She continues to make Yamada follow her throughout the day and they head to a bar. During the day, Yamada sees her at her weakest points and sees her close to tears which surprises him. Though, due to his awkward demeanor, he brushes it off. Akane, being the heavy drinker she is, gets drunk and collapses. Yamada takes her to his home because he does not have the heart to leave her in the middle of the street.
CHARACTER (7/10):
-Akane is a college student who is undergoing the repercussions of her recent breakup after her ex dumped her as he claimed to have found someone better while playing a game. She is an extroverted and bubbly girl who constantly agonizes over her ex. She is an excessive drinker and when drunk she tends to be touchy, loud, and forgetful.
-Yamada is a 3rd year high school student. He is an introverted and awkward character who rather not socialize with people. Though he also shows tenderness and care when Akane is hurt. He brushes it off by changing the topic or acting cold. He has dark blue hair that reaches the tip of his neck and blue eyes that are slightly lighter than his hair. He earns money and sponsors by playing games and making videos of him playing them.
-Momoko is Akane's best friend. She is outgoing and a straightforward character. She teases Akane when Takuma dumps her. However, in contrast to Akane, Momoko is well outspoken in situations that she does not agree on rather than holding the thought internally like her best friend.
-Takuma is Akane's ex who dumped Akane when he finds someone else he likes in ‘Forest of Savior’. His personality is very unfavorable and he is such a relentless dick. #npc
-Eri is Takuma's new girlfriend. She is just as unfavorable. The pick me vibes are strong lol. #anothernpc
-Eita is a game friend who Akane plays with in Forest in Savior. Only knowing Eita as his game persona, Princess Ruri, Akane’s first interpretation of Eita’s character was that they were a girl. While Akane meets up irl with Eita, Runa, and Yamada, she mistakenly believes that Runa is Princess Ruri due to their distinctive clothing style. Eita is distinctively recognized due to his eye glasses and blonde hair. He also has red eyes (brown in the manga) and is seen wearing a white t-shirt with a blue sweater. Eita is lively and kindhearted. He speaks in a well mannered and gentle form.
-Runa is Eita’s younger sister. She enjoys wearing clothing targeted in Gothic Lolita style. She is mistakenly recognized as the game character ‘Princess Ruri’ because her older brother tagged inspiration from her looks. She is introverted and rude to Akane when she meets her as seen in episode 3. When she sees Akane socializing with Yamada, she clings to him making Akane assume that they are dating.
…The characters are easily likable and the male characters are to die for!! You have them wishing we had them irl -that is… except Takuma and Eri since we already have many people like them in our world.

SOUNDTRACK (7/10) : Pretty skippable but you find yourself shaking your head to the op a little. I love the girl and guy's voices; it sounds really cute. Their voices flow brilliantly together!! As for the ed, hmm it's decent ig. Although the op definitely beats the ed, the ending is pretty catchy too!
ART/ANIMATION (8/10) : I actually like anime’s soft art style and character designs. The colors are very vibrant and make the anime even better.
OVERALL (7/10): This show is pretty decent. It really pleases your liking whether you are bored or not and it is perfect if you want to watch an exciting romance.

I just finished this anime and I felt really touched. This anime may be the most relatable thing we ever watch. I cannot stress enough how much of a masterpiece this anime is. I've immediately watched it after learning the manga was written by the author of Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica.
