And now it's time for a relatively normal thing in all girls school... I don't know how things go on there but this manga might enclose them the way they happen...

Why I say it? Well mainly because when a burning, painful, big wish to do something hits you, then you have nothing else to do than do it... In this case the main character did it.... But in the end things turn out the way you didn't expect...

The story takes in a school club were girls and boys should be together, but ... as the school is an all girls one, the Club is made up just of girls... So then taller girls are forced to have the lead in the dances, whichever the type is... While the girls are happy when dancing, there's a girl who can't cope with the idea to be always the lead

That pretty much takes her to do the forbidden :P... The story is good... has logic... and has an ominous feel of harsh reality every seinen title has. While it's a one shot I really think it's good for a quick read, but maybe the dialogues could have been more meaningful on that side of the manga... I congratulate the author for the dialogues 'cause they drove the manga the right way... It's a really good story

Clean.... readable... Nice... and kinda has a CLAMP feel... I don't know why I got it, but the artstyle had a distinctive influence from CLAMP's art.... Character designs imitates those of CLAMP's characters... Thin, long and feminine/androgynous sets... The art might be a turn off 'cause it's supposed to be an all girls school, but some of them looked like boys... I even mistook the second lead character as a boy... heck I even confused or related to Clow from either TRC or CCS, obviously more thinner than CLow, but she really looked too Clow-ish to me...

Hair is the worst thing of the manga.... completely sketchy and or/unnatural.... I guess I gotta get used to such style if I plan to read a lot of manga haahahah

Sadness driven characters are perfect to create a drama filled manga, but the laid back, happy-go atmosphere created around them clashed with their attitude, creating a bizarre combination between happiness and melancholy/sadness

Wishes are such dangerous things, and have a high price... A price unaffordable for others, but manageable for them

Curiousness got me, and while I bumped with this manga by pure coincidence, not even 'cause I wanted to read a shoujo-ai, just because I say it had a low rating, I wanted to give it my own shot, and it really tool its chance and managed to get my love and even make me do this review for its honor and promote it among other MAL users to read... I really enjoyed it 'cause it had me thinking all along the manga, what will the girls do, how will the lead manage to get what she wants, will she convince the other girl to do it? I liked the way the one shot was taken to

Overall despite its shortness, it's weird hairstyles and the 'manly' girls it sported, it was a great read for the short while it lasts... it clearly deserves a high rating all to its sense of reality... Numbered scores... Story 78%, Art 71%, Character 75%, Enjoyment 83%... which sums up to 307 out of 400% Resulting in an overall score of 76.75% rounded to 80%

This is a story that deserves some love n_n

A 'Meister' manga review

Welcome!!! This shouldn't be my first review, but my disappointment after knowing this manga was discontinued made me do this and kinda promote the manga awesomeness and point out some probable stuff that made Shueisha drop this series.

The manga has a classic High School, comedy, action, sports feel that any soccer manga has. A probable reason to its bad reception.

Story: 58 out of 100% ==> Planned or Unplanned? An unknown future
A summary is unnecessary, so let say the story is filled with a total randomness of different characters ... and a High School Soccer team that broke the traditions of an entire Regional League... Some didn't believe in them, some others were happy with them... In the end the team did what they wanted and had one of the best performances a soccer team can have.

The story killed the manga... I want to think that the manga was not well received due to the theme it used and not the unrealistic twist it took... Thou unrealistic, I liked the backstory it was refreshing and nice to get to know.

Maybe chapters 3 to 6 killed the manga... thou the story introduced in those chapters was vital for a further development.

Art: 87 out of 100% ==> 2D Action!!!
Clean cut....Crispy and nice... quite a Jump's Classic art style... I loved the action of the manga... It was portrayed amazingly well... The characters were nicely done, and even the backgrounds are noticeable and clearly separated between the characters and themselves.

Art definitely wasn't the reason the manga was discontinued.

Characters: 94 out of 100% ==> A bunch of weirdos XD
It's hard to understand how can a bunch of weirdos and sociopaths can play so well as a team and why they have such a great performance? Well they have one of the most optimistic and happy-go-round mentalities seen in a sports manga.

Yankees, shorties, giants, hikikomoris, leaders and a bunch of other seemingly common people is a unpredictable mix to form a team... but well what's important they have it... At least they could have gone farer this time... but their dreams were shattered in the end. Everyone had an identity as a team and as individuals... that was nice.

The unrealistic traits some characters might be the reason to manga being discontinued... They were refreshing...

Enjoyment: 98 out of 100% ==> A proud Soccer fan!
The most subjective rating ever created for a ranking... The soccer fan inside me enjoyed the short match between Kuromine and Satomi... The soccer facts were nice and a great setting for a promising future... Weird, but perky characters that made a story better... Tournaments and Happy and 'Have Fun' attitude filled the pages of this short lived manga... I can't say with words how much I enjoyed reading the manga while it lasted.

Overall: 337 out of 400% ==> KO by Technical Decision X_X
Questionnaires? Maybe they were the reason this was taken out of WSJ Lineup... Whatever the reason, for me it had a good development and had a good future... For me it ended with a rating of 84.25% which is good.... but for round numbers sake it turns into an 8...

Re-read Value? Very Low... One time is enough to get a hold of the whole setting, the story and the characters... The short life it had doesn't help its Re-read Value.
