Mixed Feelings
The story starts out good, characters are growing as chapter progresses & the pacing is just right, unlike the anime which is rushed. But as you reach the end of the first season (or chapter as how it is defined by the author) everything becomes overblown, everyone is now overpowered, & there are things that doesn't make a sense. Though it will be explained later on, you will see the inconsistencies. A lot of times as well, a character will have a super power revealed (that is overkill) & will only be explained after a few chapters has passed. It's also somehow off-putting that everything ...

The story is martial arts driven but everything gets haywire. First few episodes starts slow but will eventually get good. But by the end you will be asking yourself what just happened, everyone is now overpowered. Comparing to the source material, the story in anime is definitely rushed. Some scenes were changed to be more logical but certain omitted scenarios removes the character growth, significance & relations for the future adaptation (if it ever happens.) Animation wise, the fighting scenes were very good but all the characters nose & ears has red highlights which is a bit off-putting. Overall if you like over the top ...

Good anime with great potential. It started with a slow story line while introducing the characters then goes to something to look for episodes feeling. You'll get hooked to the series after the first three to four episodes. But eventually the ending got pretty much a let down with weird things happening (but actually it's closely depicted to how the ending part in manga showed.) Music-wise, not that catchy but they are fine. This would have been a great anime if it stayed faithful to its original story. Nevertheless it's not that bad to give this one a shot. Recommended to those who like Victorian ...

Tokidoki (Manga) add
I was surprised, never really thought that would happen.

For a one-shot manga, it's a one whole package of a story. I didn't expected anything because I thought it was going to be a love story, similar to Nisekoi's one-shot. In the end, it was satisfying yet unacceptable.

Story: Simple but great execution (and I can't move on about it.)
Art: For a one-shot, it really has a beautiful illustration.
Character: I must say unforgettable (cause its sure hit through the feels.)
Enjoyment: It's appreciative that I really want to see this as a manga series.

Overall: I do recommend this and your not gonna get disappointed.

Mixed Feelings
To start with, it's a short series featuring some of the major characters in the original Hellsing manga. The story revolves around with Walter (in his youthful years), Integra's father and the Lieutenant. In does not show much of the plot but it presented the history upon the foundation of Hellsing Organization.

For an overall impression, I found the story incomplete since I only read the manga translation. The art and the characters is really good as it depicts their looks before time. To sum it up, if you got curious of what happened 50 years before (to get satisfied with the story), then read it. ...
